Striking thru armor.

I have a character who has twice hit a desert tortoise for real amounts of damage with a bone knife. None of my other characters seem to be able to penetrate the armor with anything that light. Is there some skill or something similar that allows one to bypass a creatures armor? Last time I checked Wiki I saw nothing like this...

You expertly hurt a desert tortoise using a knife, which loses 5 strength.

After the shell has been beaten enough time, you can get through it no problem.

Uh, I'd rather hear an official word on this; I don't know about that, Spider.

Yeah, you can trust me

Anyways, seems like the attacks are on the road and my character that can attack the tortoise on the road seems to be able to get throught the shells, so I have no idea how stuff works on the road. Also, I have an awkward hunter with a composite bow that tries and get the shell...he usually does 0 but once the shell is battered enough, the attacks slowly climb until it doesn't seem to be any shell...then its killed and the process starts over with the next tortoise.

Your conclusions are certainly flawed, Spider. :?

A wounded animal in Cantr is less able to passively defend itself than an unwounded one - Regardless of where it is encountered
