Dude, one of my chars just did a completely successful boatjacking! :D Okay, so I was off the coast of Klojt, and I saw this ship, the MISS JENNEY II, so I docked with it. This was wierd, because it was in the harbour there... :? Anyways, I docked my ship to it, (which, by the way, I found out at sea on my original ship. When I found it, there was just two dead bodies and some stuff) hopped on board, and realized I hit the jackpot!!! Soooo much stuff... I couldn't believe it. :D I'm sure it's owner will be pissed, but hey, that's life for ya.

Hff, for a while I though you meant the first Miss Jenny and I was thinking how the hell could it have ended up in Klojt?? but then again who would want to steal that old bathtub anyway? But the second Miss Jenny, now that's a jackpot. About the corpses, an elderly woman and a younger man? Jenny McGrath was travelling with this nice young man the last time I saw her. Anyway, I haven't seen her in years, probably the player deleted the account or it timed out. It's a shame, we were trading with her sometimes. I guess we'll never find out what really happened.

The ship I found w/ the bodies was of two men... and I checked again on the boat and there was a journal... they were Kurt Luchia and George Harrion. The last journal date was around 867. It's a longboat, by the name of The Avenger. By the way, what type of ship is the Miss Jenny II? I can't seem to find out.

Hmm, they may have stolen it. The Avenger sounds familiar too, I think we saw it in passing on the sea. I don't remember MISS JENNY II's type but it's something big and fast. I think you can only see boat types from the outside.

Big and fast, that's what I'm hoping for. :D It's probably bigger than a sloop, then, because one of my other chars has a sloop and I don't think longboats can dock to those... :? The only problem is that I don't have the key to it, and it's locked, so whenever I reach a port, I'll have to launch my dinghy or something...

I can't help thinking this is a breach of the 4-day rule...

I'm locking this until a PD member comes along and makes my decision for me... or 4 days pass.

Surly is right......I'm assuming this has just happened, and thus does break the 4 day rule. Also, the type of ship must be found out in game, which is possible once you dock somewhere.......not a technical "tell all" situation here, imo.

Unlocked as 4 days have passed... on the condition that you ensure you don't break the CR with what you say.

This is a watched topic...

lol
I just checked, The Avenger was in Kiii when the pirates were there so it prolly had something to do with them! But I don't know who sailed it out of there and when since I'm assuming the pirates used Siom Voyager to escape.

Kiii is where my boat warped back to from a different island. Is that place the bizarro world Bermuda Triangle or something?

lol That's just a trick to lure more tourists. You can come but you can never leave. Oh, that would be interesting if some pirate warped there after thinking they're all safe in the other side of Cantr and then I'll kick their ass. ...If I was there that is.

Either I'm not quite following this, or your question has already been answered, ChilllFreeze.

This leads me to a rather worrying question of my own. Does this mean that if you encounter a locked ship you an A) Dock to it, and B) walk right in without breaking the lock?

How the hell is anyone ever supposed to keep pirates out at that rate?
