Boxing and damage

Postby Peter » Thu Aug 11, 2005 7:29 pm

Something strange happened to one of my chars.

My char is at a place where boxing is common between guards. Also my char had a "fight" with another, both experts at fighting.

The second person hit my char with bare fists at 100% and missed. Unharmed it said. Then my char hit his openent; 5% damage. And indeed the other char went from 2% damage to 7% damage, but strangely enough my char went from 0% damage to 5% damage.

How is this possible?

Ohhhhh...Breaking fist is never fun.

You know what that means? It means your character is not punching correctly, that's what it means. (Unless he had an iron shield, in which case, what did you expect?)

I had this problem with several of my chars, too. It seems that whenever a char misses during a fight the other person gets some damage nevertheless. Already reported it to flyspray but the task is still unconfirmed.

One of my chars was punched and took 1% damage, then she punched the guy back and he took 0 damage but her (my char) damage went up to 2%

Apparently (either by design or accident) if you punch somebody you could get hurt too. That's interesting.
