I am aware that many events in the events list concerning fighting and hunting now look odd with #SKILL# or something similar added in between. This should disappear once these events expire and new events should look better. If not, there is really a bug

.

You have visible skills
The skills were already there. It really is depressing to see nearly all my characters (13/15) are novices or worse with weapons...

I still don't like the idea of skills, but I'm glad they're finally visible, at least.
I imagine there might be some high employee turnover in a lot of organizations because of this, expecially for guards...
Of course I already knew what my chars' hunting skills were, where it really comes in handy is in resource gathering and repairing and the like.

Eh. I hate that everyone can see how bad my character is at something. Can't even fake them out anymore.

Ah, Surly. I guess I shouldn't tell you then that most of mine appear to be better-than-novice.

I thin you know what I am going to say, Mortaine.
Seriously, this random stats for older characters makes all the other changes seem excellent. I'm starting to think a new account would be more enjoyable... all these changes are great if you have a newspawn, but don't the older players deserve some kind of benefit for loyalty to the game?
Instead of more and more changes to screw them more?

Surly its randomly assigned to every charrie once there spawned. New or old, So dont be complaining about a good thing

Just create some new charecters and see what happens

I don't want to kill my characters over this. I have inbvested ALOT of time in them, I refuse to be cowed by the chnages thrust on them. They may suck now, and have stats that directly contradict how I have RPed them for 30 Cantr years... but I will not condemn them to death.
The combat change is doing that for me...

Is the skill display still being worked on? I notice it doesn't show up for gathering grapes yet, and probaby a few other things.
What about a walking skill? (And for that matter, is a walking stick functional yet? I hope so - finally a way to speed up travel that doesn't involve a billion tons of steel!

)

Hmm.. what weapon are you currently using? because theres skills for each individual weapon... Or weapon type at least. If you have a crossbow I sudjust trading in for a Sabre and if you have a sabre I sudjust you trade it in for a crossbow.
