Hey all! Most of you probably don't know me, I'm from the old gaurd of players. Spent a while in hospital and lost my players, haven't got the itch since, since now.
I would really really reeeaaalllllllyyy love to be able to resurect my old guys, Pauric Grimes, Tádgh Fitz, etc. But I can't...(how are Olip Forest and Quill anyway!?)
Between finishing off my last year in school, getting things for college sorted out and all that stuff I've gotten myself into a sales job for a few months to get me a few £$£s!
Anywho, thought I'd come back and look how things are going, everythings looking great, the Wiki thing, the ezine, all that. Frigg'n great! I know that my participation in the game isn't a big thing but I'd like you to sell Cantr to me. All in your own ways.
Could you get a gamer, who has played, or would be interested in playing, hooked on the game, no, the way of life that is Cantr?

It's the age of seafaring, Bang. Lots of new lands to find.

Yay! Also, elephants!
*chants* One of us! One of us! One of us! One of us! One of us! One of us! One of us! One of us! One of us!
*whispers* Just play one char. That's all. You can control yourself. Just one char...or two, two is plenty. [/dealer voice]

While the game mechanics are as...interesting as ever, societies are adapting to changes in new and interesting ways...it is indeed the golden age of Seafaring, and exploration in general. Pauric would be pleased that some of his Knights are off exploring the world, farther and faster than ever before.

Kinvoya's right. Just create one char...or two. They won't take up any of your time at all. You have the willpower not to create more. Just keep telling yourself that. And after a little while we won't
have to sell you the game, because you'll already be sold.

You like to play RPG's? Well then this is the game for you! This is the RPG of all RPG's! This game isn't just a game but another reality. Once you're hooked there is no helping you my friend.
Not if but WHEN Cantr gets it's grip on your mind, there is no telling what can happen, what you'll see, or if you can handle it...
The World of Cantr, Man! It Boggles The Mind!

Oh man, I fell on the floor after reading that.
Not ONE Cantr player has "willpower" to stop themselves from creating more. NOT ONE. And the ones that don't have 15 characters don't have that many not by choice, but by real life situations. Don't let them tell you different!

Except me. I only have 11, purposefully, so I can concentrate on them. But in the past I've had 15, and every so often I'll create another one, even though I swear I won't.

Same happens with me! I only have 13... I had 11 and I swore not to create more, but I did it anyway... I had 15 in the past too.

Do you sometimes feel pulled in different directions? Do you have inner desires, but your current lifestyle would not let you seek them out? Have you ever wanted to be a thief, but your honest heart won't let you? Do you secretly dream of becoming the all powerful? The leader in a town, or just a carefree wanderer? How about the captain of your own ship? Traveling to new and unexplored lands. A blacksmith, a clothier, a friend or foe? JOIN CANTR...let these dreams become alter-realities, live the life of each of your inner personalities..If you can dream it, you can be it in the lands of Cantr...
Can you resist?

Welcome back, Bang.
The death of Pauric Grimes started Chi Green's (my character) very infamous crime spree.
He became known as the Bandit, who ravaged the land until the game mechanics were changed so that he was practically impotent...

Hmm, a real short break, eh?
Re: I've had 8 for months now, half of which are in their fifties, and the rest are spread from their fourties, thirties and twenties. Okay, nevermind, my spawn is in his thirties now.
