Basically, the coolest place in the world right now. What do you all think?

Coolest is what way?

Maybe you shouldn't go into detail.

I thought it was pretty cool when everyone was working together. Now there are a lot of who argue about meaningless stuff all the time. Like when Karnly was there and they were discussing trade policy: completely pointless discussion. My character got pretty fed up and almost left with the tribe. But I do like how so many people are very active there.

What are you referring to with the term n00b? I don't quite get it in this context.

'specially for someone with 3 posts.
joking, man.
Whoever's playing Karnly is either very clever or very very bad.
She makes me (and my char) want to tear my eyes out with something sharp.
But yeah...I think people in Karnon are not as cohesive as I'd have hoped; and we do have a few knee-jerk reactionalists.
I'd like to think that the council idea is slightly different from most other councils; especially as it's 5 person and the alternative was dictatorship...HvyThg or Rick could probably have taken over if they had wanted...
a 5 person council ensures that there's enough diff. voices so someone with 2 chars, or 2 different people like HvyThg or Rick couldn't take all the power in a 3 person council.
But yeah...I think when KF and Karnon resolve their differences things will start getting a little more interesting there...until someone decides to try to make a bid for individual power....always happens sooner or later, and with all the newbies and ambitious oldbies who see a fresh hunting ground, it'll probably be sooner.

Perhaps you could clarify what you mean by throwing all those spare slots away? It sounds a bit dodgy...

really dodgy, actually.
Hmm...

That entire region is becoming more interesting and it all seems to be over the control of iron. The other countries are denying access to valuable resources unless traded for iron. Everyone seems to be out to gather iron even by restricting their resources to obtain some. And Karnon seems to have made a wise choice by changing their governing style to one of a lesser threat. Can't wait to see how relations turn out between the major locations on that island.

that's why it behooves KF to allow iron, but to make sure they have a head start so they can continue to ensure that they can resist any attack made on them by someone (and you know someone will try) who wants all the iron to themselves.

That may not be noobish at all. It actually could be very good roleplaying of a char who has grown up under an empire and never understood freedom before. I think that's what it looks more like. And so I give props to the player of Karnly for such a wonderful performance.
