IC Games

Postby Genevieve » Sun Jul 10, 2005 11:30 pm

Have any of your characters come up with games that are unique? I've seen tag, mud-throwing, hide-n-seek. Typical stuff. Anything more interesting than that?

Or perhaps an interesting take on the ones I've already mentioned?

I've been looking for some way for sports to become a part of cantr life. I think a bike racing circuit could be a fun thing to have. Unfortunately, Cantr is going to have to be more united before sports can really pick up.

 Spawn hunting?

I err mean, thief chasing? Bids on who gets the kill? Haven't done that in decades, however.

I think I saw a note way-back-when on some sort of race...I think near Blaman Mts area? Anyone know what I'm talking about? It was a BIG picture note.

Never saw any note about it.

Again, it would be nice if a racing circuit could be formed in Cantr. But that would take a LOT of established cooperation.

Tour de KDS.

Oh, and I have seen bets be taken on how many hits it would take to kill a cow. The trick was, newspawn hunting counted, so you could never be sure how strong the hits were going to be. The bets were actually collected, so that was nice.

If a random number generator were introduced, like through a "dice" tool. Then we could play craps in cantr. We could even build casinos!

I'm not asking for "could be" but what is. With what we have now, what games have people come up with? (though if you have someone organizing something like a bike circuit, that counts...but the random number thing...does not)

Well, then the cow-betting is the only thing that I have personally seen IC so far.

One of my characters had fun with a game of Wake the Sleeper. The response was pretty funny...for me anyway!

LOL. That is one thing I have heard a lot about but since I haven't ever had a charrie in the area, I don't think I've seen it.

I think a race would work. if you couldn't get bikes, just have them run. Something like that one reality show, the amazing race (i think). if you could get good rpers, you could have a sort of gladiator match. I think people want to see blood anyways

There was a bet to see which one of two sleepers I could get to wake up first. That's all I really want to say, because I thought it was kind of fun and don't want to give all the secrets away. I think only me and one other person should no the details, but you asked for an IC game that was played.

I've also played Iron Chef Nonirowk, trying to perfect various recipes. That one was a lot of fun too. :D I wish there was time to play that one again.

I thought about trying to get a gladiator game going too. That would be pretty sweet. It would require a full blown festival for it though, one-hit-per day rule and all. We've come close in Lake Village a few Cantr years ago though. I think it was the Spike vs. John, check your testosterone at the door show.
