Any character that ever lived. They still exist in the database, tied to the accounts their belonged to.

Right, that's how you can see them in your settings page. They have memory loss though, so their events page would be empty, and they may not remember any names.
But maybe I'm taking this discussion a little too far.
Nice idea to consider what previous characters would be like now though.

I have been a cook. Not a farmer, gathering stuff, but putting it together into dishes. People liked them.

Now I'm stranded in the wilderness. Like, all alone, miles away from everything. I have the dingy that landed me here and little else. There's no hope to escape.

My tajine is my most precious possession... I took it with me when I left the city. Just a trinket, back then, when I took all the wealth with me and it would be a luxury journey. How things would change.

But both potatoes and spinach grow here. And with a tajine, you can turn them into Saag Aloo.

I love Saag Aloo. I have nothing else to do. The animals aren't really dangerous. I'll never get out of here. There are some disbanded buildings here; I'll fill them. Saag Aloo will be everywhere. When astronauts come here at day #20,000, they'll have good food. All of them. Saag Aloo.
