Cantr logout button

Ok, there seems to be strong opposition to the logout redirection. I thought it was a nice way to stay informed, but alas ... To avoid listening only to the biggest complainers, here's a poll about it ;) ... It'll be binding, unless there is an unclear outcome. You have 7 days to vote.

If you only like the first option when a link to the forum is added, please vote for that option nonetheless ;) ... The link will be added ...

Slows my machine down, I said main page.

...could we not just have the front page notify us when the webzine has been updated.

I voted for Main page but it would be good if we were informed of new issues of the Webzine - either on the main page or as an in game message

Yep, have to agree to the suggestion that the front page or something should have notification of new issues of the webzine. It was really good to have a look at and read through, so I'll be quite happy to follow a link to the next issue when it's ready. But once I've read it, I don't want to have to load it up every time I log out of Cantr, even if there are links to the other things on there (and there should be, wherever the logout goes to).

(And by the way, following the thread about communication and such that we had a couple of weeks ago, I'd just like to say hurray for starting a poll on this topic, and also hurray for starting it after we've had time to get used to the new way so we're not just knee-jerk voting. In fact while I'm at it, hurray also for the webzine itself - I can see it having a lot of really interesting stuff about where Cantr is going and what people get up to behind the scenes.)

I voted forthe front page. I didn't mind the redirection at first, but now after seeing it over and over it makes it feel forced on us. I followed the link after the message, I will follow the link on the next issue.

I voted for the Webzine for five days after the edition and then the Cantr page. That way it gets us to read it, but no one should need more than five days to read the whole thing.

I chose that option as well. I'm not so sure I'll notice a notice that we have a new issue. Having it thrust in my face, at first, will be sure to get my attention......as I do want to read it the minute it's out.

Well... I chose main page... I would've chosen the 5 days thing because it'd be a nice way to let us know there's a new one, but 5 days seems a little long... maybe if it had said 1 or 2 days instead of 5 I'd opt for that... Cuz when you log in and out 50 times a day to preserve minutes for important happenings, it's gonna get old to see it 250 times... Plus, it does slow some comps down...

Keep up the great work though, and thanks for the poll... :)

:D We complain over such trivial things, don't we Jos?
I voted to have the link redirect to the main page. I'd like a message sent to players upon new Webzine releases, if possible.

I voted for the first 5 days but I'd like first 2-3 days also. I've read the whole thing and enjoyed it but won't be reading it again because I have a memory.
