I fell into the same hole that Pirog did. It just has another name. I've been hooked on Galaxies lately. I just have such a hard time Staying with cantr when I am a combat orientated person. And now combat isn't even really an option in cantr.
I'm just not the crafting type. I've tried alot of the crafting options in Cantr. I even did clothing with my toon Ken Moguti. And for all of you who are looking forward to Data's collection of the studdies of Sexyness, find his corpse when he dies. You'll find a neat-o treat inside
I know no one is porbably going to miss me. I have a tendancy to rub people the wrong way. I'll try and get on to check the forums every once in a while.
And if you play galaxies, look me up on the Ahzi (or how ever you spell it) server. The names Mogogo.

It's funny. This game seems to attract such extremists.

Why not play both games? Or just reduce your activity on cantr for a bit while you focus on the other game? You've been around, more or less, for at least two years already. Obviously something has held you.
Anyway. Good luck to you. I have enjoyed a few of your characters. Hope you return.

Ah hahahaha. You don't want to leave Cantr. Trust me. Care to know how I know?
At one point in my life, I had a simple reviewing job for MPOGD.com (Heard of 'em?), and so I played many, many, many online games of sorts (It's how I found Cantr, too!) - and although I get addicted to some of the games that I reviewed, after so long... they became bland and unoriginal, repetitive and whatnot, whereas Cantr ALWAYS has something new popping up here and there. Not from programming, or game mechanics, but from the players. The world is ever changing in Cantr. In Galaxies, it is not. You may think so, cause planets are taken over and bull like that, but alas, after so long, you will come to see the truth in my words.
Therefore, I propose that you do not leave Cantr. Merely play less of it. Because if you stop, and you realise I was right, you'll be so pissed when you come back to a deleted Cantr account... all those characters gone... all because you THOUGHT something was better. Which is impossible.

Anthony is totally right. You'll start wondering what is going on - especially if you read the forums and get little hints - and then in a month you won't be able to stand it anymore and you'll think, "I'll just create one little char... Damn, I wish I had my old chars back!" Nothing can replace Cantr, you poor, deluded fool!!
Also...like schme, you've grown on me Yo Yo.* Don't go.
*even though your char in the car hit my poor defensless little girl with a sabre out in the lonely forest...jerk!

Not that I'd want to see you go, but I think if you can kick the Cantr habit permanently, props to you. 2 years and still not one step closer for me

I couldn't agree more, and we have this forum to blame.
People have their characters killed, then they whine here about how an OOC solution should be made.
Pirate problem? Build a navy!
Thief problems? Get more town guards, or locked buildings!
Tiredness problems? Sleep! As is, tiredness is almost not a factor, at all.
Jos and Co. have bent to complaints too often, I think.

Wait.... I'm confused. I assumed that the reason it was stated that combat is no longer an option was because of the tiredness factor. Not that I completely agree, since one of my characters was involved in a successful armed conflict after tiredness was implemented. But if it's not that.......what is it?

Deterioration and skills?
I don't know, my characters aren't exactly fighers.

Well, the fact that attacking someone once tires you out more than a lifetime of working, could be to blame...

Are you saying that tiredness is or isn't a problem related to combat?
