If you have a site and you want to link it to the Cantr Players' Webring, please notify Solfius or me.

If people show enough interest, then I can use Webrings to create one of those nifty banner thingys. If you like you can create a webring page of your own for now or you can link from my page (not sure if Solfius wants anyone linking from his page). This'll be good advertisement for Cantr as well as for your own personal site.

The only requirement is that you are a player of Cantr. :D

I don't mind people linking to my page, I don't know what you mean by link form though, you mean put links or image files into their site which get the pictures for the files on my site???

This the webring thing we could use; I would like to have a image for it but you need one that is less than 4KB and is 50 x 50 pixels. If anyone can create a image for the site ring that I can upload that would be great. But if you like this, we can use this instead. All you have to do to join is complete a membership with WebRing which is completely free.

here is the preview site;

Oh yeah, and if you are a Cantr player that doesn't have a site yet then it is really, really easy to start one that is free.

http://www.geocities.com is the best one I have ever used and they have a very simple and powerful editor that you can use for free.

There are others. Try to create a webpage, even if it is as simple as just telling who you are with a bunch of your favorite links. It'll only take an hour of your time. :D

I had some ideas about making a site about cantr... but had now idea what to put on it ;).

I had the idea, to make it some kind of diary. But i think that is *not done*, because everything should be kept in game... Maybe some ideas, what i can put on *my* cantr site?

Character storied perhaped based loosely on events in Cantr, perhaps? Like my story. Based loosely on what happened to that character but some things changed and stuff.

It wasn't my idea to copy and paste the events ;). But I wanted to write down what happend to my main character, or to all my charaters, every week or so.

But should i use the real names? And can I quote people from the game? Or goes that too far, because i realize that people could use my site, to cheat.

Perhaps use events from a long while ago, or maybe make up your own Cantr fiction not based on what is really happening in game?

Yes, that's possible... but, well, i'm only playing for 3-4 months now ;). And writing my own stories? Nah... that's not what i want. If i do that, i can also write a book, which isn't exactly what i'm planning to do 8).

Any other ideas what i could put on a website dedicated to cantr? Because i gues writing stories is really not-done.

hmm, it's a tough one as all the normal things to put on a website is preffered to be done in game.

About the webring, RK, is it up and running, or was that an example of what it would look like? if the former I'll join and update my site

I'm working on a site right now. I'll be putting some basic info on it. Will see what i do with it in the future.

The webring page looks... erm... how do i bring this without hurting anyone ;). Well, it looks like a bit of a mess... but it's still under constuction :D.

Btw, if you want the same background color as the cantr page, i think you use the wrong the color. I didn't check your source, but when i put them next to each other (the webring-cantr page and cantr.net), you see the difference.

The right bgcolor is #004400. And if you want to make it all cantr.net layout (which i'm gonna do. Have to contact site-admin though, to ask if it's ok), here is the rest of the colorinfo:

bgcolor: #004400
text: FFFFFF
link: #FF9700
vlink: #FF9700
alink: #FF9700

It would be easier to use the style sheet that cantr uses, you can just get it off the site admin and link it in
