Just thought I'd be the first to point this out. You can repair stuff now. Apparently all it takes is time... no extra resources. I like that. Thanks! :)

EDIT: Buggy. Don't use. See Suggestion thread...

AoM, please see the "Repairing Bug" thread in GS and the "Disintegration" thread here.

Repairing is too buggy to use right now.

well, my char is working on a repair now, so we'll see if I find any more bugs such as what happens at the end of the project

I thought when something broke you were able to fix it.
One of my chars blamed his bad archery on his 'broken bow' that needed repair.

 Close one. I nearly tried to repair my crossbow, but then I was like...Nah...my character really has no need to. I'm relieved that I noticed the bug on the forums, and will refrain from it in the meanwhile.

That is all I've done so far. Sorry about the repair bugs but that is a programming problem. We were told it was ready. I'm sure it will be resolved as soon as possible.

Jos, we really need a test server!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe a notice about the bug should be posted on the main page? Not everyone uses the forum, and I bet a lot of people are going to decide to give repairing a try...

There never has been a test server.

Anyway, guys, repair is going to be turned off until programming can fix it. Sorry for any problems that may cause.

I think it still exists, not sure why it wasn't used. I'm removing repair for now until someone can take a look at it so I advise to just try and finish and started repair projects and mail any problems to bugs or programming.

There has been too one Richard. I remember Cosmo had me login to it once, but that would have been at least a year ago. Maybe they didn't transfer it over to the new server.

>.< Sorry Nitefyre!

I don't see why we can't do it while travelling. I've been able to work on projects while travelling before and I'd certainly like something else to do on board a ship. It'd hate to sail to a new land and find say ... elephants, but have my weapons crumble to dust on the way there with nothing I can do about it.

I've got a character repairing a weapon right now. I hope it's fixed before it's done, because I'm darn well not cancelling it.

As for it not working well, think on the time scale for a moment. A weapon might only take one day to build. There are several of those. Now, it will take a year more for it to become crumbling. When you repair it, it says it takes X to build and X to make it brand new, so you can stay way ahead of the item rot curve.

However, the values on how to make it seem off. A bone club said it took more than a year and a half to make. I seem to remember it not taking so long. Why are the values so high?
