Huh? Ads?

Google ads on the forum.

That should bring in a pretty penny for cantr.

Nice thinking Jos :P

Yeah, at the beginning, google ad-sense will show all this humanitarian stuff.... and you don't get money for the unicef-thing....

But after a while, the content will handle with roleplays and stuff..... content-sensitive

I wonder if it was Jos or if the ad is just included in a new phpbb-version..... then, he won't get any money at all, but as there is the same thing on the login-page of the game as well......

Hum, alltough I'm quite good informed, I've read nothing about the value of one click..... (and, only the clicks count, NOT the views  ) Could you please state, how much you earn per click, if so? I know that they will only send money if your account has more than 100$, and so I'm still thinking of including it into my own hp

greez,
Chris

wow, with our forum we'll be raking in the cash

Google doesn't say how much they pay, but it's on a click by click basis, so you must click to earn! Go do it now!

They're screwing up the forum for me. They appear to have made it substantially wider, which doesn't agree with my screen.

I'm tempted to get my avatar back just so everyone else suffered the same problem...

Then you must surely haven't got your screen at 1048 768 pixels.

I thought that was the new standard?

I think you need a higher resolution screen, perhaps.

1064 x 728 works fine for me

I'm on 1240 x whatever it is - so anything looks good (but kinda small...)

I am not buying a new screen just because Cantr has got ads on the forum now.

Anyway, I frequent other boards (of the same format) with ads... no problems. It is only this forum... I wonder why? :?

It has nothing to do with your screen.

It's your vid card/driver that needs boosting if you can't crank it up.

Surly, you can change it from your Display Properties. My computer is a POS and I manage 1024 x 768 just fine.

Try going to your main screen.

The one with My computer.

And right click your Background.

Select property's
then settings.

There should be an option to crank your resolution up there.
