Why is it?

Why is it, that when you find someone IC who is fun to interact with, and is good with thier RP, all of the sudden they stop, and you're lucky if you get one liners from them anymore?

This has happened more than once....The charries I am refering to are played by different players, at least I know a couple are...(I have found the players by reading the forums) I find it to be rather frustrating. I believe that my own RP capabilities are fine, my charries have been mentioned in the forums, I guess, what I want to know, is if anyone else has experienced this too..

It's probably got a lot to do with different stuff happening in Real Life. I know I've not been nearly as active over the past few weeks as I was before, because I was on holiday for a week, then had a backlog of work, laundry, etc to deal with, then we had guests around for the weekend, then it was my husband's birthday, right now it's concert season for the choir I sing with and my life is generally a lot more hectic.
If one of the characters you're refering to is one of mine (don't know who you play, and don't really have time to go hunting), then I'm sorry about that. I certainly haven't cut back on Cantr due to poor roleplaying on the part of anyone I interact with regularly.

Probably one of the guilty ones, or at least I know I do what you're complaining about...
When I'm at uni, I get loads of time to RP as much as I like, but at home, with partner and work and generally less time to sit in front of a computer, my characters RP enough to survive...
It's annoying, I know, but I only do it, as it's better than nothing I suppose...

Ladvicitavoi banker guy! I laughed when he died.
Then I spilt my coffee, and laughed more.
(Only joking, I didn't.)

As for me, I dispise one liners. Even if the person I'm RPing with totally sucks ass, I'll still try to make large posts. It's what I do.

You'd be very mean if you actually did that!!

I'm probably guilty of this as well. Some days I write big long detailed RP. Some days I write rubbish one liners, and other days I feign sleep even though I check my characters.
*shrugs*
It's how it goes with a game like Cantr.

You can tell the days I'm bored by the amount of time I invest in cantr...other days, when school and so forth interfere, the people I come in contact with are lucky to get one-liners, if anything.
Sorry, folks, I decided my education was more important that sitting at my computer and RPing all day. If I had 48 hour days, I'd do both.
That's not to say I'm never going to RP again, of course, just that nowadays I'm too busy.

I do understand that life is what happens, even when you're not looking.

..I certainly have my days where RP just isn't my thing.....I was just feeling a bit frustrated this morning ...but I do feel better now, I wasn't complaining about anyone in particular, (even if it sounded that way) just more in general...Thanks for listening!!!!!!
