Does anyone know why this OOC comment was really needed?? And do you find it gets rather annoying?

1130-3: ******** says: "OOC: ever heard of roleplay? IC: She was getting in my way... that's a perfectly good excuse. If you had let me do this on my own, I'd have broken it by now. Frankly, Akira is quite clumsy with a crowbar."

1130-3: You say: "Because people are getting in your way. I think that is quite a lame excuse. If you were in that building, would you want one person with a crowbar to stop trying to get you out because some-one was in there way?"

1130-3: ******** says: "*raises eyebrow* Didn't I just say why?"

Its not really a Cr breach. Just the player stating something ooc. But he shouldn't critise RP ic though. Save it for the forums. We have threads for that.

Yeah, it's not a CRB it's just crappy RP complaining about crappy RP.

As far as I could tell, I wasn't rp'ing nothing. So i don't really understand why the comment was made. But it was annoying. Your in the middle of something..

Because I was trying to RP that you were getting in my way, and you pointed out the obvious game mechanic that two people working on a crowbarring project is good, not bad.

If you want to whine, find another forum, seriously. This is far from a breach.

It is possible, trust me. It's a game, play along. Well, for as much as you can. Or we'll just have to play -with- you.

I hate OCC comments. If people absolutely have to make them they should be whispered. It's exactly like someone talking out loud in a movie theater. Takes you right out of the suspension of disbelief.

OCC comments should be treated like 911 calls...only in extreme emergency. And if it's not an emergency the player should be reported and get a fine of play suspesion for a day or something. The exception should be helping a noob with info (in whispers only).

Sorry to sound cranky but I hate them that much.

Players are asked to keep them to a minimum and emergency cases, but apparantly some people don't understand what emergency means. No, I don't really need to see in six towns that a player of several chars is going out of town. Can't you rp a way to find characters that will help keep your char alive while you're gone? I don't give a crap about you, and I don't want to see your OOC I'm going to be away for a week, stuff.

Hmm, I remember that someone who announced at least in Tircqi and Kiii that they'll be gone for a week or so... No sign of action ever since.

How exactly can you rp a good reason to simply stop repsonding for however long? from my own point of view saying "i feel tired, i need to sleep" wears thin pretty quickly, but what else would cause a cahracter to stop in that way?

It may get tiring, but it's commonly accepted that that's what they're doing, sleeping.
