Just a question: Is the speed of travelling fixed once you are moving or is it effected by people on vehicles giving you lots of stuff?
If any idea, please let me know, the reason can't be disclosed at the moment. (4day rule)

Well, back when I played the strength of the character determined how fast you traveled so if you were hurt or starving you would walk slower and since at the time of the turn change you gained a little bit of strength back as long as your character ate something then you could travel a bit faster.
Also, the weight you are carrying should affect how fast you are going so every time you eat your 80 grams of potatoes on a daily basis it takes a little weight away which should help your character move faster but I'm sure that it doesn't affect it that much.
But since I have been gone for a while and there are now new things likes tiredness then things are probably different these days.

Are you sure? I didn't think speed was at all dependant on strength, fatigue, or the other bars..

From my knowledge:
Vehicles, people, and boats USED TO always move at the same speed they were when they first left dock/town/whatever. So if it were calculated that you move at 10 'units' an hour (Just go with me here), then you would also go at that speed.
However, it has been changed. Or so I've been informed. Moving speeds are now recalculated when the turn comes to move... you... yeah.
So, if you had eaten food, thrown a body overboard, or given some resources to someone not in your vehicle, then your speed will increase. If you get damaged, begin to starve, whatever - your speed will decrease.
This of course is just from information that I have been told in the past, and from experimentation within game. I could always be wrong, since I seem to be quite often
