Oh the Insanity...

Postby InsaneIrony » Sun Apr 03, 2005 6:37 pm

 Have any of your characters ever been insane? If so, how many, and the whys and hows, perhaps? :D
I've had... 2 insane characters. Vitzy of Sheep( she's overly protective of the woolies), and Kard (seeks a way to bring back the dead ever since the girl he loved died. ;) )...
Now I know I've run into some who seem to have been hit on the head with a stone hammer one too many times ;) Anyone got any cool insane-character stories to tell?

I had a character spawn in a very desolate area with no food and a lot of animals. He watched two or three people get killed by cows, then marched for about ten days without food to the next town. He was on the verge of insanity, actually had a short nervous breakdown, until a lovely young woman in her twenties brought him out of his funk.

A friend that he met after that was kind of loony, and he is starting to wonder if it is going to rub off on him. That's my reason for voting sorta.

I had a character who, when he spawned, only talked gibberish.

He later decided the reason nobody could understand him was because he was a sheep. Thereafter he spoke normally, but as a sheep. He considered himself the king of the sheep in Flonder, and hit anyone who hit a sheep. He couldn't do some things, (or he assumed he couldn't) because he couldn't manipulate his feet very well. When he did do something, he just assumed he was a special sheep.

I deleted that char, though. Didn't have time for him.

I have a char that's rather a nutjob right now. Once I find someplace more condusive, he'll be setting up shop to convert others to lunacy too.
Reality was never my strong point.

Wait a minute... this was in the desert right? Did your character die in the mountains?

Nope. Way off. I doubt he's really been noticed at all, except by his really close friends. I don't really get time to play him much so he's pretty quiet.

I tell you... I've tried it before... along with several other types of personalities. And I'll spawn em and get it going... then no one will notice, or at least notice enough to make mention of it IC.... Kinda ruins the mood for me.

Strange, because I was going in the desert and met a crazed person, while I was a woman in my twenties... I dunno. It sounded similar.

oooooooh thats what happened to my charrie, he died in the mountains... so many bloody animals up there.... he was in a town of about 6 and he went to get 'taters cause there was no food, and when he came back, everyone was dead, so he ran to the next town and started mining stupid ammounts of salt. (he had already been gored several times by boars and had 2% health left) and some random little boar killed him... he was kinda insane...

Except this person died in a civilized mountain area, by unknown causes...

I have a character who nobody likes because he writes music.
