Ok ok. I know I'm not the only. You know who I'm talking to as well.

1124-5: Spike Speigel says: "ME!"

Ahh I know we will never see Jo Jo again. But his battle cry will be remembered for eternity in cantr. so a confession. Come on I know that I'm not the only one using that phrase( however short it is)

*grabs his hipflask and raises it to the air*Here's to you JoJo. Seatown Forest will never be the same without you in it running around taking charge of things.

A) You're wrong.

B) It probably came from Maily, or before then.

C) That phrase should not be used universally, but only in KDS.

Otherwise, I feel it constitutes a minor CRB.

Heh. I agree, ME! is a classic. My char was so confused the first time that happened.

Edit: It would be good to change the title of this thread to something like, "Most Memorable Phrases in Cantr" so that people could add other good ones they might have heard. No?

If "Me" Comes from a specific area, it should remain to be known by the characters who have heard it and not others ___islands/towns away.

Using "ME" because it was used as code in one town, should not be cause for a universal language and those of you who are using it for one, should immediately stop.

ShoeLace, whenever JoJo would yell out "ME" whenever he needed help.

Did he ever tell anybody what he meant by it, or did someone just stumble across it's meaning? I know my char had to be told by someone else what he meant by it...

First off, it didn't originate with Jo Jo.

And perhaps, we shouldn't make it public what it's used for.

That's a little silly. Though it certainly shouldn't magically become some univeral code... :x

It was definitely used long before JoJo (my first-ever jailing involved it)...I wouldn't be surprised if it dated to before Maily as well. Donna Trent would have had good use for it I've no doubt.

I remember that in Seatown forest. Got a mention in Gahak's travel journal, it basically means that if you think you've done something wrong you better run. But he didn't, actually helped them with dragging at least once.

Well yes I would say your probly right on the "ME" not being used as a universal code and should stay in the region it originated from. But "ME" has been used universally everywhere. I will admit that not everyone uses it but those that know about it(not saying all) do use it.

This brings back an amusing memory for me.

It actually led me to believe that Jo Jo had an outside spy "mule" and was engaging in minor CR breaches. Not true of course.

I arrive in Seatown Forest some time around 955 and ask after Jo Jo.

Immediately a man in his thirties runs out of a building, yells "ME" and almost immediately--as far as I could tell--runs back in again.

So is that Jo Jo?

Almost immediately, the same man runs out again, yells "ME" again, and repeats the whole performance.

I thought it was all for my benefit!

It was Maily's idea.

I remember reading her copy of how Seatown Forest was going to be run. She actualy asked me to make comments on it and I know I made a few suggestions but I can't remember what they were. I haven't been in that area for over a year.
