I call on all revolutionary workers to post rebuttals to this filthy capitalist propaganda! Alternatively take up your mass-production bows and follow me!

Nah, my first post was actualy a blatent lie. I decided not to go down that road.
Anyway, maybe I'm just comparing that character to some of my others. Thats probably where i get the views from.

im kinda fond of the council system thus I beleive the technical term is Republic.
But then again I have one who you could call a king but really is a down to earth guy thats why those that know him love him(Richard Rahl)

Actually, a republic is just any nation not ruled by a king or other sort of monarch.
Your head of state could be a panda bear, as long as it's not a king, and your legislative branch could consist of a shoemaker, it would not matter as long as there is not king in the equation.

I actually like that whole setup. Things actually seem to work the way they're supposed to. Screw the capitalist outsiders.

They won't give us iron, boo hoo hoo. Suck it up!
The only monarchy I have encountered, everybody was asleep, so it's hard to say what that means. Guess productivity hit the skids.
Most of my characters just hang out with a group of people and sort of trade favors casually. So far they're doing pretty good by my standards. I've been handed my bows for just being a good stand up awake friend.
And whatever it is that's setup in Kiii seems to work pretty well. Well, I guess it's just a commune really. Hey, I guess I do like communism.

There economic growth will stop eventually! Likely in the mid sixties, mark my words!
Seems to be working right now.

I like the Kwor-system with the guilds. It's a bit like a communistic economic strategy, but only if you want to participate in it. You are free to start you're own (capitalistic) company if you like, but it is probably hard to compete with the guilds.
By the way, is there any spot in Cantr where the leader(s) is/are to be elected every, say, four years? In my experience leaders are chosen for life and rarely have to worry about whether they are re-elected or not.

yeah there is. not every four years i think its only a 20 day term. but here it comes, the thing we all hate "find out ingame"

Oh yeah!!! I really could abuse the knowledge of knowing about a place where the leader has to be elected every 20 days!!!
Wait...
No, I can't....
So there is absolutely no harm in telling; no harm at all???
Hmmmm.....

The old Karnon Forest Free State had a charter wherein the Judge and Sheriff were elected every five years, and the Secretary every five years as well, two and a half years staggered from the other two.
Course, something tells me the more recent regime is for life.
(In a sense-of-permanence way, not necessarily a state of being "for life" or pro-life)
