O_O Ok, serisouly. How much trouble would it be to add some extra protection against accidental deletion? Like click on the word that appears twice to continue type of thing..... I almost deleted my account just now, i would have been pissed.

Yeah, current situation for you would have been looking pretty bad if it went through.

If you had to enter your password to do it it would be far better

This was already posted to the Suggestions forum after Sunni Daez deleted all her characters.

And before that when Pirate Lass accidently deleted hers. (ETA: Hi, Jon!) Still, no change.

This is a real concern for the players. Can someone please make this change before we have yet another senseless, button-related tragedy?

I've clicked that button loads of times now. but I always realise my mistake and either cross the window or log out or something. Going to be even harder with my new broadband.

That button scares me...Why must it be so close to the logout and new character buttons? Can't it be, like....waaaaaayyy down at the bottom..or like four buttons that you have to click in a specific sequence?

IT'S A BAD BUTTON.....BAD BAD BUTTON......I have created a new litter of cantrains, they are all making thier way, most are not so noticeable, one in particular makes me laugh, well moreso the one charrie she interacts with the most.... It definitely needs to be made more difficult to delete your account...the need to enter your password would be all it would take.....to prevent mass murder!!

I think we should get rid of the button altogether.

People who want to leave can just let their account idle out (in case they do want to come back)...

or send an email to the Player's Department to delete it instead, if they need it done immediately.

Well, if they let the account sit idle, then we have to deal with sleepers, I had a charrie who waited patiently....for a long time .......for the companion to awake....just to have the companion die one day...not cool, put mine in limbo, and takes away the fun...

You could all just slow down and be patient enough to make sure your clicker is on the right button. Yeah it sucks you deleted your account. But it is your fault after all.


Just slow down and look before you click.
