Cantrian Clock stuck at 1.29

Is this happening to everybody? or is it just me? Things are happening as usual--projects are ending, for instance, but the clock has been saying 1.29 for hours on end. Surely I can't be the first to notice?

I assumed that the server maintenance took longer than they anticipated and it just got up and running again. No?

That's all well and good, except I got no minutes left! Agh! Too many chars, no time! *hack, cough, gurgle...*

Will we just have to be very sparing with our Cantr time until it resets naturally?

I vote for a new set of 200 minutes right now. :)

All for Avatar's benefit, of course.

Isn't it the server provider the one messing around here- and not the programmers?

Yeah, once time gets moving again, a reset wouldn't be all that underappreciated.

People who have the power to reset minutes usually do when something like this happens... if they notice before they reset manually. But they don't always notice, because I bet they NEVER run out of minutes, themselves.

Flyspray is the more appropriate place to put this, as it is a server bug.
(I've added a task there, but it's still unreviewed)

I suspect the CRONTAB (server based timer tick thingy) is not firing, and this is causing the problem. But I haven't seen enough of the code to be sure.

Why, thank you Thom, for letting us know the status of this bug's notification. That's really really appreciated. :D

[who is normally sarcastic, but is genuinely thankful this time. Gold star!]

Must be time for a new Cantrian day to start by now, and the server hasn't updated our playing time. :( . On the bright side :?: it's offering me seven day-reports for 1091, if I want them! Hope this doesn't mean that they anticipate 1091 lasting all week.

That would NOT be a good thing.....

Thank you Thomas,

On Behalf of the players,

I'm sending our appreciation (and more- in some cases ;) -just not mine) for resolving the problem.

I still had 151 minutes...

So that's not so great for me...

How do you people use 200 minutes so easily?
