*Warning* Incoming Players *Warning*

I have been putting up the adds and generally talking up cantr at my school, and I'm afraid I may have created a few monsters. One new player seems bent on random destruction by breaking the capital rule. I'm trying to convince him to switch to random destruction within the rules of the game...
At least one serious new player also joined, though.

Thanks for pointing that out. If you can give any details, please send a mail to
players@cantr.net.
Also, thanks for advertising Cantr. We have a lot of new players, and there are always a few k3wl 1337 h4X0rz0rz d00dz among them. The PD does a good job spotting and removing those kids. So far, in the history of Cantr, only 4 people managed to get banned permanently. Maybe your friend wants to join that sorry bunch of wannabes.
2 of them are still frequently trying to access our site, as we can see in our logs. We're always having a good laugzh.

I have 3 people from my school playing cantr (convinced by me). On is almost addicted as me, the second has 56k, so can't play as much as i do... and the third play's as much as the 56ker, at least 5 times a week, i think.
They are also telling other people... so we get many new players

. How much players do we have, right now?

I'm trying to get my 'sister' to start playing. She's only 13, but she's an awesome rper from what I've seen, and she shouldn't have any problem with it o_o Also a bunch of me friends. But some of my friends are kinda stupid and don't understand anything and just quit *sigh*

I'm starting to get my brother playing. He doesn't know much about RPing, but I'll try to be on with him for his first couple of days to get him used to it.

i'm always caught between extolling the amazingness of cantr and unleashing a bunch of PeOpLe WhO TyPE LiKE THs.
but hey..
one thing i love about college is my connection: whenever I've got a few spare minutes i can come up to my room and log on...this is why my characters are usually on top of things

specially in the wee hours of the morning when i can't sleep

Yeah, during the summer, and now during weekends, I'm always on Cantr, and I pounce on EVERY SINGLE EVENT. But I can't do that as much now, since clicking on anything eats up ten minutes because of the lag here. Remind me to visit Information Services so they can 'say hello to my little friend.'

It seems my brother got denied because we have the same last name. I can't help that. I told him to send an e-mail to the players department and he said he did. Have you guys accepted him yet because I told him he should start playing this game now he is getting pissed.

This is something that you could have sent in a mail or a PM to the PD. If your brother came up with a convenient reply, he will be accepted.
Take into account, though, that the people in the PD all lead a real life. It might take some time to dig through the bulk of mails they have to process.

I have looked up the mail of your brother now. It sounded to me as if he was not really interested in playing Cantr. It said something like that he's ok with not playing Cantr.
If the PD encounter a suspicious case, they expect a convenient explanation.
Additionally, the mail has apparently been sent just yesterday. You should allow a realistic amount of time for the mail to get processed.
And really, next time, please direct such requests directly to
players@cantr.net. That's what the e-mail address is for. Exceptionally, you can also use the General Support forum. In this forum here, and especially in this thread, the post is misplaced.
