604-3: a woman in her twenties says: "The strong shall live, the weak shall die. That is the way I have been trained. Although you are arrogant and offensive, you still are a weakling. Which means......"
604-3: a woman in her twenties says: "*throws her head back, swirling her long red hair around, draws an arrow and slowly aims* Bye hun."
604-3: You see a woman in her twenties kill a man in his twenties using a war bow.
That was the most distubing thing I have ever seen on cantr

...wow
Well, also when 28 people were slaughtered....that was pretty bad, but at least it didn't happen in front of my chars eyes....what distubing things have happened to your chars?

My chars are normally causing the destrubing stuff

, but I have to say that Ricks death in Krif not to long ago was about the most gruesome thing I've witnessed as a player.

My character have witnessed a few overthrows (Both Cromwell overthrows, Tircqi, Krif (Craktar and Maynard)). Plus I always have had characters in the Krif/Drojf/Seatown Region so I have seen some gruesome stuff. In fact, out of the four characters that lived there, only one of them is still alive.
My character is Sester Gartaf (though that is not his name any longer). He use to be the current general of the Alexian Empire but I'm not sure where he stands anymore since he has been fighting a battle against the empire's enemies in the Xiria Region. But back when he was young he witnessed and was involved in the Battle of Naron Forest. That was a slaughter for the Naronians which led to Ladvician domination of their region, though Sester has heard rumors that is not the case anymore.
Old Blojt, before the Commonwealth, was a free for all. That was a criminal haven where the strong stole and killed the weak.
Purple's overthrow and genocide in Tircqi should be ranked as one of the worse. So many people died under her merciless reign.

Well, it wasn't actually as bad as the bodies would suggest...
But never mind that. All the facts should come out during Purple's trial, if it ever gets started, that is.

I could've sworn that she was dead anyways.

No trial.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how the interim council got appointed. Conviently, the actual elections don't start until the trial is over. Interesting, no?

I used to like Tircqi (at least I had to, having 3 characters spawn there), but since Purple went insane I lost interest. I tried to revive my interest by having one of my characters return, but all those discussions are way above my favourite character's head. Since he left town , I barely even check on my remaining Character as I always seem to read the same discussions.
In the meantime, Tircqi remains as backward as ever.

My character (Thomas Covenant) died.
I had so much planned for him.

Yeah, and my character...the former so noble sheriff of Tircqi, finally got enough of that backwater town and left.
I don't think the interim council have any intentions of setting up the grounds for a democratic election...they seem pretty pleased with being in charge as it is
We will see if Tyrones fear about Erin controlling Tircqi will come true...

Thomas wasn't to fond of Erin but could tolerate her because he was pretty much in control at the time. Thomas was probably one of Tircqi most powerful leaders next to Victoria Baggins (by the way what ever happened to her). Another of my characters is watching that town turn into a dictatorial democracy under Erin Yest. Too bad Thomas died. He would have stopped her.

I don't quite understand how you forsee this happening. She doesn't have a seat in the interim council, she hasn't put her name in as a canidate for the actual elections, and right now she seems too preoccupied with her bank to get involved in politics. I just can't see her taking over Tircqi, at least from what I'm seeing so far.

Thomas got to know her well and what she wanted. She is still pretty outspoken in her anarchy democracy stuff and I believe she will take power as soon as she is able to. I think she is just waiting until she has enough followers in which she is gaining.
