Well one of my chars died from animal attacks and i began to wonder what would be the ideal starting loaction if i had a choice in the matter. what resources i would like to have at my location how many people and so on.
So ive decided that i would rather be spawned in a forest or somewhere close to a forest were there is some light food, wood, and stone. in a low populated area with semi agresive animals for me to kill for supplies and food.

That would depend a lot on the personality of my character I think.

I would like a character born somewhere with grass, by the lake, with wood, stone, hematite, limestone, coal, salt, cotton, hemp, water, gold, diamonds, carrots, spinach, aspauragus, and every variety of the healing foods, about 25 people, no government, and about 7 to 10 of each animal at all times. That's my ideal.

My needs are simple: I like to spawn where there is edible food for hunger,as that is the most basic need I have to meet upon spawning. Everything else is negotiable.

I'd like to spawn in a place that has people that can rp well (of course). Not too many people, I hate big places, but maybe half a dozen active people, no sleepers. Preferably a place with carrots/asparagus, close to a forest but not in the forest itself. No lions or other nasty beasts, at least not many. More than the resources, I'm interested in the social side. In the beginning you don't need salt, metals, diamonds, minerals, cloth materials etc because you shouldn't even know how to use them. What a newspawn needs is daily food, wood and a bit of stone for the first hammer, now ain't that cute?

Hmmm, that is a tough one......I liked all the places that I have spawned in except for the new island because they have no animals.

The KDS region is appealing to me (as I have 2 characters there, my second eldest, and my newest) - as it has the intrigue, suspense, the stuff for what novels are made for (and have been made for). A rich history which effects what happens in this day and age in Krif-Drojf-Seatown area. The proximity of the locations, the variation of leadership styles: With the Clan's word Law in KH's, Councils in Krif/Drojf, a Governor in DHN, a Matriarchial Power in SF (though seems to be operated pretty much by Jo Jo), and of course DHW/DHS- then of course, the Pirates...due to it's closeness to both Sea and Lake...access to (Pok Southern) Mountains. And the roleplay in that area, if you search hard enough- (but due to the overpopulation of it...there seems to be a fair share of developing roleplayers as well).

Back in the day of 500 I would have said Quillinoi. In since time it has become less and less appealing. Right now my favorite place is Seatown the people there really know how to roleplay, and not just meaningless drivel, but real roleplayign where characters have goals and fears.

Ahh the good ole KDS regions. Is by far my favorite place to be. I have three charrys in the regions. Err. Sorry. Two now. That damnable pirate got one killed. Although I do like his roleplay that is fun. Ever yell at a person with better weapons than you and he attacks others because you don't want to shut up.
DHN is a good town and hate to have to not have someone there anymore.
Seatown is great also. Not like it used to be. All thanks to Farrah Perile on that one.

Farrah is sad right now. Relevart still hasn't awaken and she feels that Seatown must be a curse for leaders of the Garden. She is happy Dragon Slayer got out of there before it affects him next. If she dies, this will be the fourth high authourity figure to die in Seatown in a matter of a few years.

This has got to be the weirdest thing I've ever seen on Cantr.

Strange occurances are going down at the island-K.
There's no place I think is more fun than having a character spawned in this veritable tempest in a teapot. 16 locations in a nice, near box formation, amongst them is everything one needs to live and have a decent society, but still that place is rife with intrigue and danger and oh so much hope and philosophy. I think there are some decent RPers there as well, and the different locations are really starting to have some cultural personality differences... which I really like.

In a colony on a new continent. Absolutely. It might be incredibly dangerous and hard to make progress, but it would be really neat. Too bad no one's actually managing to get a colony set up.

Unfortunately I only have one charry on Karnon Island.

But with the way her emotions have been for the past year or so with a break up she took pretty hard. I wouldn't be surpised I am not one of those interesting rpers being talked about. Though she is quiet at the moment when she gets back she has a few words to say.

The Karnon Island? Everyone knows it's called the Kirinn Deep Forest Island. Duh.
