Cantr linguist fun

Ok so I felt bored, what with the chatroom and Cantr itself being so lively (NOT!)... I made up a Cantr-centered riddle that should allow you to pick up some of the most important Cantr sentences in French, as well as some really easy grammar, in no time :-) (part of my evil plot to get everybody to play characters in the French region  )

The riddle works as follows: first you get an extract of a character page listing some events in French and their English translation. Then you'll get a couple of French events that you have to translate by yourself and finally you'll have to translate some English events to French. Events are bottom-up, as usual. I'm quite sure all my values (such as for hit values, producing stuff or how long it takes) are completely wrong - you should learn about such stuff in-game anyways.
If you managed to translate everything and would like to br... umm inform everybody that you got it right, please send me the results, rather than posting them and spoiling somebody else's fun. I'll check them and post a high score here. So here goes:

10-7 Le projet 'Fabriquer un bouclier en bois' est terminé. = The project 'Manufacturing a wooden shield' is finished.
10-5 Vous laissez tomber cinquante grammes de pierre. = You drop fifty grams of stone.
10-5 Vous laissez tomber dix grammes de petits os. = You drop ten grams of small bones.
10-5 Vous tuez un lapin avec un arc de chasse. = You kill a rabbit with a hunting bow.
10-5 Vous blessez un loup avec un arc de guerre, qui perd trente-cinq pour cent de forces. = You hit a wolf with a war bow, which loses thirty-five percent strength.
10-4 Vous voyez un homme d'environ quarante ans donner soixante grammes de fer à une femme d'environ trente ans. = You see a man in his fourties give sixty grams of iron to a woman in her thirties.
10-3 Une femme d'environ trente ans dit: "Salut mon chéri!" = A woman in her thirties says: "Hello my darling!"
10-1 Un homme d'environ quarante ans dit: "Salut à tous!" = A man in his fourties says: "Hello everybody!"
10-1 Un homme d'environ quarante ans entre Kwats, venant de l'auberge. = A man in his fourties enters Kwats, coming from the inn.
10-0 Vous utilisez trois cent grammes de bois pour le projet de fabriquer un bouclier en bois. = You use three hundred grams of wood on the project of manufacturing a wooden shield.
10-0 Une femme d'environ vingt ans dit: "Ca m'a fait plaisir."= A woman in her twenties says: "My pleasure."
10-0 Vous dîtes: "Merci beaucoup." = You say "Thank you very much."
10-0 Une femme d'environ vingt ans vous donne deux cent grammes de bois. = A woman in her twenties gives you two hundred grams of wood.
10-0 Vous donnez quatre cent grammes de pommes de terre à une femme d'environ vingt ans. = You give four hundred grams of potatoes to a woman in her twenties.
10-0 Vous prenez cinq cent grammes de carottes. = You take five hundred grams of carrots.
10-0 Vous avez mangé quarante-deux grammes de vos carottes. = You have eaten fourty-two grams of your carrots.

Now for the French part without translation...

And the following events in English...
11-7 You drop fourty-five grams of small bones.
11-6 You kill a woman in her thirties with a war bow.
11-6 A woman in her thirties hits you with a hunting bow. You lose two percent strength.
11-6 You see a woman in her twenties hit a rabbit using a hunting bow, which loses ten percent strength.
11-6 A woman in her twenties says "Hello everybody!"
11-6 You enter Kwats, coming from the inn.
11-5 The project 'Manufacturing a hunting bow' has been finished.
11-4 A man in his twenties gives you five hundred grams of carrots.
11-4 You say: "My pleasure."
11-4 A man in his twenties says: "Thank you very much."
11-3 You give an iron shield to a man in his twenties.
11-1 A man in his twenties says: "Hello!"
11-1 You see a man in his twenties use two hundred grams of wood on the project of manufacturing a hunting bow.

I guess this requires quite a bit of logical thinking, especially since languages are usually not 1:1 representations of the same words. I tried to keep the provided translations as close to the French as possible.
Have fun! *snickers*

Eek! I got the first 2 lines, but and the subjects of the others, I think, but I don't think it's enough of a translation to count

First in: Anthony with 12 points.
Second in: Revanael with 18,5 points.
Third in: Seko with 17 points.
Fourth in: Missy with 14 points.
Fifth in: Oasis with 16,5 points.
Sixth in: Punker with 19,5 points.
Seventh in: Sparkle with 16 points.
Eighth in: Sociologist with 20 points. Perfect score!
Nineth in: Nick with 17,5 points.
Tenth in: InsaneIrony with 17,5 points.

Come on everybody, this can easily be solved by comparing and contrasting e. g. which words appear in this sentence but not in that, which are the same in many otherwise-different sentences...

I think the word fun should be removed from the title of this thread...

Oh yay, I think I'm understanding something. And I'm NOT using the translator. (But then again I had three years of French in school, it couldn't have gone totally without effect.)

Is the Player's Department on this one yet? It seems like a breach. That random man in his twenties giving someone an iron shield? (you know how costly those things are- I know its Thanksgiving time and all...but not in cantr) I think this may be some OOC co-ordination. Hmm.

Ah, was easy. Even though I restricted myself to what was in the clues - which was what lost me half a mark. The other one was reading an age wrong...

Updated the scores again...

What Rev didn't see could have been seen in the clues, but it's a piece of grammar, so it might not be that obvious to those who work with word lists. You don't have to have studied French to solve this, btw.

Uhhhhhh... Yeah, okay, does it have to be FRENCH?

I got the lowest score so far, and I bet I took the most French out of all participants so far. That is down right sad. In Canada, we're required to take French from grade 1 to grade 9, and there's optional French for Grade 10, and depending on the school, 11 and maybe 12. I took French for those nine years (I even took it for an EXTRA year, since I failed Grade 9 French and had to retake it) - I suck at it. I used my knowledge more than I did the translations that Judith provided.

I suck.

Can the next one be German, so that I'm forced not to use my stupid head? :D
