What are the food available that we can eat?How can we cook?If I try to use the pit it says its already in use!Please help!

Hi.... I guess people will tell you to find out in game... So, I'm gonna say the same to you
If the pit says that it is used by someone else, then it is. Wait for them to finish, and you can start cooking or grilling.

Usually other players will help you out if your character does not know how to do something. (In character of course.)

Are spaces too expensive for you to waste after punctuation or something? MRRF!
Also note that if you can't get anyone to give, lend, or pay you some food you can try walking to somewhere else.

Daily, healing, and dual-function.
Daily foods you eat automatically every day (if you have them) to avoid starving and recover some strength. Healing foods you eat using the 'eat' button to gain strength immediately. Dual-function foods are used both ways.
No one here will name all the foods or categorize them. That is IC information.

Calm yourself. It takes a VERY long time to die from starvation. If you take hunger damage, there is healing food, as mentioned above.
Relax, mention you're hungry in character, if that's your style, and someone will be along to lead you into a life of indentured servitude shortly.

FIND OUT IN GAME!
Discuss past goings on here in the forums, make suggestions that kind of thing.
Here's a good idea, and it won't break the CR and will be an easy way for you to help make this game better and more playable.
Take notes on what you'er confused on and the responses you get. That will give everyone a better idea of what new players need help with. Take a look at the FAQ on the forums, as was mentioned above, and maybe send the author some of your findings about confusion points. You can help make this game better.

When we say in game...we mean in character. OOC should NOT be used to ask about game mechanics, at least not much. If you ask two OOC questions in a row, you're probably doing something wrong.

Lord-whatshisbutt talks more in OOC than IC. I'd rather he play his character.
