Magnetic players

Postby SekoETC » Tue Sep 07, 2004 6:22 pm

Have you payed attention to bumping into several characters played by one player? I don't mean that someone would be intentionally searching for your characters or piling up their charries in one location so that you see more of them at once, but when you meet several of their characters with your different characters in different locations. Or when several of your characters run into the same person in different places because that one travels so much. Does anyone get what I'm saying since this is pretty hard to explain.
But for me this kind of "magnetic player" is Pirog. I have had characters know four of his charries (of which one I had earlier runned into with another character of mine) plus one or a couple more briefly by name. Mostly I didn't know they were his before reading the character directory topic.
Then there's Ragina.. If you read this, do you have several characters with the same name because I have run into such girl with two or was it three of my charries?
Bubbling under there's trage, I can remember only two of his charries but it seems funny because I met them in such short time. The second one happened actually when I complained to him on Yim about some rude boy one of my charries had run into and he was like, "sorry that was mine"... :D

Somebody list me please... :]

I've had a couple encounters like this. Sammie, for one, and Sierra, for another. it's odd, because more than one of my charries know more than one of her (Sierra) charries... not just one charrie knowing one... i've had one of my charries meet 4 of hers, and another one meet 3.... and way back when.... (when i still had Perrin... the Goldeneyed Wonder) he and one of hers were together...
you think you know me... but really, i don't know myself

Mind you I only maintain 7 characters,

So anyways I know that at least 2 characters are solid friends with 2 characters someone else plays. I've had 2 different characters attracted to 3 characters of another player. Hmm, also a fair amount of my characters are acquainted with another player's characters in particular, and have met 5 of theirs.

Now that I think about it, that seems to work too.

I wouldn't know. I don't want to know who the player behind the charaters I meet is since somehow it looses some magic and athmosphere in the interaction. Knowing who their player is might influnce my chars view on them, and thereforemy char's actions and way of interacting with those chars. Afterall, it's about the char, not the player..

I agree.

Some people I can tell by playing style, others I already knew.

I don't want to know anyone else's player, though. It does make it lose magic.

Mind that if you have too many chars interacting you might get PD on your neck.

Gregory, if that was a try to indicate in the least, that you got in trouble with the PD for no reason, then we can debate that here. No problem.
