The Biggest Idiot on Cantr

Postby Dougb » Sun Aug 22, 2004 10:56 pm

My Vot e would be a man That is now Dead.... Thomas summers. one of my Chars when to drojf to join the RU and Thomas came into the town and "took" over. Everyone was mad at him and so he though that if my char really wanted to be the leader then he could come back and they could all vote. and he was talking all this B.S. about that he "earned the right to be the leader. He even built a military in what he called Defense.... well The north hills (Devon - yeah thanks man) came down with his friends and they deal t with him.... but really this guy was so stupid that he though t that we wuld let him be secon in command after seizing the government..... I think the best players are NOOBs because they have no Pre- disposed prejudice against a region......

Just can't resist a chance to blow your own horn, can you Eddy?

Thomas Summers was the dimmest person I've met in recent memory... there may have been others.

From the perspective of Palemon and Kev Milsom (the character) it would be Xavier. They always joke about him

Dougb:

I don't think I understand what you are saying. Thomas Summers (I hope) was played by a complete 'NOOB'. His typing alone made me want to kill him (ooc).

When you first start in cantr (well, for me, and obviously for some other people) you have a totally overinflated sense of your own importance, and expect people to see the light of your brilliance immediately. Thus you do something totaly braindead like try to seize a government without any weapons...(I wasn't that bad  )

Anyone who displays a 'pre-disposed prejudice' against a region is breaking the CR. Older characters may have a thing we call 'knowledge' or 'experience'. That's different.

Are you sure you didin't play Thomas Summers? The typing is strongly reminiscent.

I assume you play Lord Archorn...

Thomas Summers from the Post Action Reports that my char got were rather ... in accordance with what you're saying. Although my char if he had been involved would've probably not agreed with the merciless resolve of the DHN expedition.

Edit: Now that I see what industriallist wrote, I am led to agree with some of the statements made. You might want to tweak your grammar.

one of my char was spawned just after he took over the north hills, and she thought that HE was theleader of the lands around him, until she left the place and people threatened to lock her up (because she was helping Thomas alot) if she didn't leave immediately, thomas wrecked her life, now she is living alone in the mountains, shutting away from the world, like a hermit.

I agree, Pirog...Xavier, in Dory, would sure rank as one of the most annoying and dimmest characters my characters have met so far.

It's a good testament to his player's role playing skills that he was able to make him so irritating that my character had to once go and stand outside town for 10 days just to cool off and count to a very high number, for fear of inserting a shovel into Xavier's pompous head.

 I was thinking the same thing.

Dougb seems to have ... a roaming thought sequence.

Of course I have nothing against the poll since it re-affirms Cantr's dominance on the Cantr Forum. ;)

It is somewhat disturbing that four people who bothered to read it voted that cantr was getting boring...

well, then they might stop playing soon. If they think it is boring and not be good at rping, so it would be no great loss if alot of "dead" boring characters died .. just my opinion.
