Anyone ever come across or play a moster character in Cantr. I tried a hand at it, and I was pleasently surprised. I liked it, and it was fun (I couldn't stop laughing at the people's shock and horor). But I can't post what happened for a couple days. The 4 day rule thingy. I just wanted to now if anyone else tried it and what they thought.

By monster, do you mean:
A) Person who behaves in a manner deemed monsterous.
or
B) Some kind of nasty non-human creature?

There are a number of examples of A (Craktar). B isn't permitted, unless I'm very much mistaken. All characters are the same species...

Characters are human beings, correct? I HOPE SO.

Yes, there's Craktar, he was called a vampire for drinking people's blood if I am not mistaken.

A human that went mad beyond comprehention.

I have a character who is quite mad, but not in a dangerous way. He was fun to play until people got used to him. Now I don't know what to do with him...
I should try the scary aggressive kind some time. It's probably fun too, but a character like that might not last long...

One of my characters came across some ghost animals.

Actually, it was character suicide. I had to do it to prevent a CR breach. I had notes claiming that two characters were each others cousin's Last Will in Testiment. I wrote them when I was an ignorant newbie . I was confronted about the potential CR breach. I apologized politely, and then killed off my character. ( WITH STYLE! )

I don't see what it would hurt to post those events. That character is dead, and I'm sure all of his items have been dispersed amongst the mining settlement he terrorized (careful, they might be cursed ). He had no friends to speak of, and it was an entertaining specticle of death. Hopefully it will fade into Cantr folklore within that region.

Um, spectacularly killing your character for OOC reasons could be considered a CR breach. Unless you were directed to by the PD.

He was close to starving to death, and was boring. Anyway, here's what happened.

Could it have been something he ate? Bad rice or popcorn maybe .

but there's the 4 day rule.

Are all of your characters this suicidal?

Interesting RP nonetheless.

That man was freaking me out in real life. So I killed him since that other guy didn't want to. I know the whole 4 day rule but this can be exempt I guess since Richard is not in that town anymore either. Abd that guy is now dead.

Just so you know I told everyone not to help me bury him and I gave him a small prayer to save his soul in the afterlife as well in terms of respect for a life lost.

Just for clarification noone was forced to kill their character regarding the situation spoken of.

Simply reminded that characters do not befriend one another nor automatically know one another etc etc..


On a second note, please note noone is exempt from the four day rule.

1- The man wanted to die and was going to kill himself either way. I just helped
2-The only person I befriended was Peirs Anthony. I think at least. And that was from getting to know him IC.
3- I didn't mean any person exempt from the rule just this topic since the 2 charries involved are not even in the same town. One dead the other looking for more resources for his town.
