Is this a regular thing? That is, have any of your characters found another character and became "really close" with them? I'm not sure how likely it is but I have 2 characters who have found characters who they can "click with" easily.

Out of my 15 characters...

...4 have stable relationships

...3 have lost loved ones

...5 have romantic feelings towards someone they are not involved with

So there you go

Out of just 7 chars,

Only 1 char has lost someone they were intimate with (terribly rp-d by me ), finally found a single individual he's happiest with in the end who finally is spending quality time with.

Another has gotten engaged but called it off, because he wasn't up for it, and has found others that he's had feelings for, including a trusted friend.

That's all I'll reveal.

Out of my 15 characters...

... 3 have a steady relationship (Two are engaged)

... 1 has lost 2 someone

... 3/4 (No, not three quarters of a person... but three or four) have someone they've got an eye on, however, have done nothing about it (Or been rejected...)

... 1 has been killed by their love one (Serious! She's a mad woman!)

... 1 has died alongside his dead lover.

and ... 1 has done some dispical things to one he loved *Snicker*

I don't usually play for the relationships, but sometimes they can be fun!

out of 15:

-2 married

-2 engaged

-3 involved

-2 have lost loved ones (both to death)

-1 with feelings towards another character


that leaves...... *does simple math as if it's a rocket science experiment* 5 single (well.... 7 if you include the lost loves)

i get in to the characters easily, and switching between them is fairly easy for me, because lots of the attributes that i have personally show in my RPing... i don't know if that's really all that good.... but still...... *shrugs* things like that happen.

OK........a hypothetical situation:

Your character is getting involved with another character. There seems to be an attraction there and things are happening between the two of them. Your character's player is an adult (hypothetically). How can you be sure that you are not role-playing 'sensitive' interactions with a character whose player might be a 14 year old?
Yes....I know that the characters are the ones interacting. And I couldn't care less if they are male or female. But the age thing does bother me and is something that I would really like to avoid.
I would like to assume that I can tell the maturity level by their role-play and vocabulary....but I realize that this is a false assumption. Many younger players are exceptional role-players and probably have better vocabularies than I do.
And I really want to avoid OOC talk.......I really like to keep it to a minimum because it can really mess up the flow of things.

Any thoughts on this?

I dont think it matters, as long as the character RP's it well, and knows what is "going on".
Anyway out of 15 characters:
10 are single and haven't thought of a relationship
1 is 0 for 4 with women... He's about to his end.
1 Has a girlfriend, but she has been sleeping for some time now.
1 Thinks he has a girlfriend, and both have strong feelings for each other.
1 Is just plain confused, as he thought he had a girlfriend, then she left, then yet again thought he had found love, but things went "away".
1 Is new and secretly loves another member of the town...

3 are in a happy relationship.
2 have lost a loved one.
1 has been married and the split up.
1's boyfriend went crazy and killed a bunch of people so she left him.
2 are happily married.
3 are engaged to be married.
2 have a crush on someone but they haven't done anything about it.
1 had been going back and forth between two people, and after one of them went crazy, married the other one.

And yes, some have been counted twice, considering past relationships.

ok. To help out with who I might be talking about ill go in order.

- has a crush on someone he is now working with
- is in love with slaving away himself to the community
- Doesn't want a love.
- this one has trouble keeping her emotions private with her bf and is afraid she will scare him away.
-is in a small relationship with someone but is still really shy to try and move it foward.
-has a crush on a man she was traveling with but got sepperated and lost so now she can't confess her love to him.
-is more interested in revenge for selfless acts against the people
-only wants to become rich
-is desprate for a man to come her way and sweep her off her feet.
-is in love with himself and can be very arragant
-only wants to look pretty
wishes the world was empty of all life so he can do as he wishes and not have to worry about people getting in his way.

ok. So some are not in any relationships and others are. Thats just about what their personalities are at lest so it kinda strayes from the topic.

EDIT: I wonder, who remembers Katy Mlee (Or sumthin like that) The owner of GM in Cantr City, one of my chars got 'intimate' with her, and then she got some of her employees to kill me. And everyone else. Bastards.

Ok ok.........perhaps I am making too big of a deal out of it.

Seems like my charries can never have normal relationships... Even if I don't use names, you'll probably easily figure out who's who.
First the ladies:
Poor girl number one was just friends with boys. She was very close falling in love with a guy, but he had to die before anything happened. Now she has a strange crush-mixed-with-hate-mixed-with-fear thing towards a man who doesn't know/doesn't give a damn. And then another man is obviously in love with her, but for some reason she can't respond to the feelings.
The second poor girl fell in love almost right after she was spawned, and they had some good time together, but now the guy has the sleeping sickness and will never wake up.
The third poor girl was very intependant and quite lonesome when suddenly a relationship started developing.. More than friendship it came. But how about that, the man died! And now she will most likely never love anyone again.
Poor girl number four is quite dependant on a man, and maybe even had a small crush on him, but suddenly she has turned doubtful and is afraid to trust him anymore because of things she heard about him.
Not so poor girl number five is well.. quite a tomboy, unsure about her sexuality, might even be bi.. A boy had a slight crush at her once but she didn't respond much.
Lady six is too cold and emotionless to feel anything at all.. She's far too rational. I don't think she'll any feel anything strongly.
And the gentlemen...
You know Gahak. He's a total chauvinist. I'd be surprised if anyone could ever fall for him. He thinks about riches and power more than women, but feels lonely sometimes. Still, a wife would most likely be more than a servant than a loved one for him.
Then there's a nice boy that loves almost every girl he meets, but is too shy to tell them. If someone would act sexually towards him, he'd be utterly confused and even frightened.
And... I'm not going to list the other ones since they have nothing significant happening.
