Sore Loser Thief
There was a unoriginal character that sailed the lake in a stolen boat and robbed the a forest atleast two times. He was eventually caught, locked up, and killed.
The man thought he would use the items he had stolen hostage in order to stay alive, claiming the town would never recover the large amounts of resources stolen. He was then told that he would die and the resources meant nothing.
All he carried was a few grams of stones, so he started a project for a room. that wasn't horrible, the name wasn't offensive. It was merely a vindictive move.
Now we get to the sore loser part.... his body was a blank note and blank envelope bomb. I guess being locked up gave him time to load up on letters. 27 blank notes and a dozen blank envelopes. It all cleaned up now and now the fun begins of searching for the lost resources.

Sore loser, sure. Creative as well. How many people do you know would purposly carry a million notes on hand, just to force you to clean it up after they were killed? I'm sure in the future more people might use this as an example to piss off their captors. Of course, it would also be breaking the CR in a sense, I guess...

I've done it before to my captors a long time ago since they deserved once. But now it's been messaged to all players a while ago that note bombs aren't permitted. So do not commit to this action.I didn't save the message though. It's definetly not original Anthony.

Well, /I've/ never heard of it! Pfft. I'm always left out of the circle, you guys suck!
If it shouldn't be done, then, shouldn't this be in like... CR or something? I guess nothing can really be done since the character is dead, if anything... but if it's not supposed to be done, it's not supposed to be done!

There was definitely a discussion/announcement before in which note bombing was declared illegal. Presumably for a large number of good reasons, from IRL hardware to CR.
It might well have been before you joined the forum, Anthony.

It was no big deal in that the thief was locked in an isolated room and the clean up was only a slight annoyance to me personally. The main thing one must remeber when locking up a sore loser is to not lock them in a room with machines which they could possibly jam. Starting a room with a morally offensive name can be removed, but jamming machines is probably something you will have to live with.

Cantr History: General:
Question # 1: Years ago, the Cantr world would cease to exist because of "Bandwidth Issues" then after a certain amount of time, we would all wake from the darkness to find we atleast continued travelling or working on projects.... How long did these worldwide blackouts last? (what was the reason each blackout ended)?

Shanannigan..is that spelled right?
Capturing the man, locking him in a whore house and making him listen to sermens for days before exectuting him was justice enough IC and OOC for me.

It may very well have been, but they need to be forewarned that enormous amounts of notes are not needed to make a statement. Six, seven, ten would be fine, but when you start getting into the twenties and thirties ...hundreds..It becomes annoying player behaviour rather than annoying character.
More of an issue where the player knows the characters going to die so they create numerous amounts of uneccessary notes because they know it pisses people off.
In the long run, if the player is not contacted they may feel its alright for them to do this again in the future when in fact it's not.
