He's now developed a compilation encyclopedia into a very nice encyclopedia, if I may indulge, which is soon to have a replacement visual maps concerning problems with its current one that is borrowed.

One of my chars miss him, so much.

I once had a char just happen to be active when a group of characters (played by the same person or people) unsubscribed, dropping all their keys, weapons and materials. So he nabbed them all and took over the town, making it his Sultanate for awhile. He had plenty of popcorn stored there too so he could weather most opponents, but he must have been pretty scarred towards the end when he was betrayed.
Another char has sailed from Siom to Naron to Olip and back to Siom and now runs a growing shipping industry.

I've only been around for 7 Cantr years, so I can't say too many impressive things...
On the up side of the law, Naleph Nayr went from being a wandering newspawn to a Karnon Guard Private for about 2 days, and then Nelson Batista, the guy who was the Commander of the short-lived Council was stripped of his rank by Jules Vernes. Jules gave Naleph the job since he was the only other guard. So Naleph got boosted instantly to Commander. A position that he has since become very successful with, since there are a LOT more guards nowadays.
Most of my sneaky under-handed dealings have ended in miserable failures. The most recent was a man named Xero Sul, who stole a bunch of iron from Miller Sanders. Miller caught up with Sul on a bike. But, Sul managed to convince Miller to not only spare him, but to hire him on as an accomplice. (Miller happened to be a thief and murderer himself.) It would have been nice, but a guy named Princeton killed him.
oh well.

My Chars. haven't done anything as great as most of you. Lets see....
Elizabeth has finished so many unfinished projects that she has lost count.
Fidel is about the only postal worker I know that traveled so much of the Krif area, Seatown area, and Plaekur area at one time.
Daniel happened to steal from Longinazy because he was upset about them letting a person harm other people and didn't do anything about it. He left down the road and bravely returned to bring the things back when someone from the town finally came and helped him with the criminal. He took the things to wake people up and was attacked twice. Which upsetted him because they didn't do anything to the thief. I thought once he had returned he would have been a goner, but he survived.
And the others haven't done much yet.

one of my charrys has helped start up the "karnon forest beautification project." where they try to get people to finish all the old projects before starting new ones. for a while, the prize was (and still is... shhhh) kisses from my bouncy friendly girl.....
Only 5 people have collected prizes, (all men, go figure) even though many people have worked abandoned projects for the towns benifit.

Well, unfortunatly they were all short lived characters due to my inability to continue playing last year, however:
The first, Klug Steiner of Kirinn.
Dunno how the place is now a days but was there trying to organize the people and turn it into a decent city. It was hard, I had to be bold to maintain the task but it was great speaking out to people and working together with everybody.
The second, Dust, the mapmaker!
Managed to gather enough info and explore enough to complete the first full map of Nonirowk. Also coined the term Nonirowk and it appears to have stuck (according to some of the forum post!) I dunno if his maps are still used but he was a fun one to play. Managed to visit the entire island and see it in the early stages of growth and chaos.
Ahwell, now all my new characters are just milling about eating and dying due to animal attacks

Hehehe Kirinn.... thats uh. *cough* Whoo..
Dust maps are still widely used, my characters dont see a point to anyone else mapping the island its already been done and done well, anytime he sees a map other than a Dust map he trashes it.
And Nonirowk is still used by the old timers.

OOCly, I prefer K-Isle. My char made a private map, but the dust one is very useful. Umm right-o, Kirinn

I expected more from that place.

Bad, bad people! Dragging my topic off to be welded onto the 'best places' topic!
Supposed to be about remarkable incidents in your favor. Being leader for ## years doesn't really count...beating off an attack, or your original rise to power might.
Just out from under the 4-day rule, I had a character who walked into a town and began work on a long-abandoned longboat with all the resources added. About ten days later, a man in his thirties (who I think had been there all that time) began pointing him out and trying to get him identified, claiming that the boat was his. Since no one there knew me, things just sort of hung there until the boat was done, and I took the key, announced myself, and sailed off.
I don't have any prior experience with sailing, but I think I evaded pursuit from some other (likely faster) vessels present.

If you didn't know, they now have a Church of Klug.
And Dust's accomplishment seems rather appreciated throughout Noniwrok.

I wrote the Karnon Forest Government Charter. I was really proud of that, but it doesn't actually work too well. The next one will be better I promise!
