Cantr II Discussion Forum

Well, I've been playing the game on and off for about sixteen years now, and the last period of activity has probably been my longest at about seven years, but I am going to say goodbye to Cantr now, probably for the last time. It's been fun and I've loved and hated so much about the game, but I just don't have any desire to play any more. Soon after this is posted, I'll be unsubscribing from the game, although I have ensured that any with a lot of keys and/or resources are in places where the stuff can be picked up by town leaders. I've also ensured that any notes are in envelopes so that my characters don't note bomb their surroundings. The following are some of my characters who will be passing today (I've not listed all of them as some have done little in the game and probably won't be remembered by many) -

Alex Myers (spawned 2994 in Bhak, died 5784) - my oldest ever character at 159 years.
Xander Maynard MacGregor (spawned 2994 in "Central Hills of the MacGregor Clan, died 5784)
Alex Olesky (spawned 3101 in Cape Kerena, died 5784)
Sloan Indichi (spawned 3980 in Zdoktalip Schulls, died 5784 on his boat)
Samantha (spawned 4403 in Blojt Forest East, died 5784)
Grace (spawned 4447 in Kwor, died 5784)
Niall (spawned 4665 in Omeo, died 5784)

Thanks to everyone who I played with, it's been a great experience overall. I'm sorry to see these characters go, but it's for the best.

Just out of curiosity: are there reasons related to Cantr that make you leave, or personal reasons? Feel free to drop a private message to GAB with some feedback

It's for personal reasons, I've just no interest in playing Cantr anymore, but you're welcome and thanks for providing what has been a really entertaining game to play!

I think I've solved the mystery of the diminishing number of characters. It was that darn dire wolf! We should have known.

Since the 4 day rule no longer applies, can the moderation edit of Xander's original post be undone? He posted his characters, and there are likely player's who'd like to PM him since he played since basically the beginning of the game and surely lots of people knew his chars.
