Hmm, I was wondering, is cantr like a planet or just a particular piece of land on a planet? like if you go far enough would you just *disappear* or is it a wrap around map?

No one can tell you :) - You have to find out in game.

Christopher Columbus couldn't log into a "Theories and Facts" forum and ask if the world was flat or round - He had to find out for himself. You need to as well :)

That was kinda rude, deleting that post anthony. Its not relevant to anyones characters so really, there was no point in deleting his post then posting that one.

Fine then, I will sail a boat and drop to deep space when I reach the edge.....

Nah, I bet it's like in The Trueman Show, eventually it'll go "boink" and you hit the wall...

At least Yvonne thinks that the world is flat... The others haven't thought about the idea since they have no plans of sailing the sea, thus having no worries of falling over the edge.

Flat. Why would they think otherwise? One of my characters is paranoid that his boat will sail of the edge of the world... :P

This question has been asked before, and the same responce was given - it needs to be found out in game. What was I to do, sit around and let people discover things they're not supposed to know? =\

This is the same as if, someone asked how to make Iron. If someone answered it, don't you agree that others would go "You can't answer that! You need to find out in game!" - Then what would happen to that post with the answer? It would get deleted or edited, depending on the information given.

I didn't mean to be "rude" in deleting it, but that's something that needs to be found out - no matter how insignificant it is. It may seem like the way the world is shaped is "nothing" compared on how to make Iron, but do you realise what the possibilities could happen when some -character- discovers if the world is round or flat, the RP value that would have when they return home to tell of their findings?

Based on the above decisions, that's why it 'dissapeared'. I stick by my decision, and I wouldn't doubt others would agree with me (Even though, more often than not, everyone disagrees with anything I have to say >.>)

I would like to point out that since you have chosen to delete that particular post as opposed to the others, you are kind of giving it away. I mean, we basically have two choices: Round or flat. If you had just left the post, it would have merely appeared as another opinion, just as the others do.

No. This post in particular was very blunt.

And I quote: "The world is [round/flat]"

That's not exactly an 'opinion' as to why it was removed. Now if it said "I believe" or "I think it is" or "It probably is" before it, then I would not have touched it, because it wouldn't have been sticking out at me like those four words did.

Now by deleting it, you've given away that the person's post was in fact correct. >.<

If it were wrong, I doubt you would've deleted it.

The fair thing to do was instead of abusing your right of ridding the person's factually stated comment, was to edit it and say that it is only that person's opinion.

(this is my opinion)

p.s. Yes mods who abuse their powers are evil dictators who have WMDs.

Didn't Columbus theorize the world was round before he sailed the ocean blue? By using telescopes and what such nonsense he had reasonable scientific standing to assume the world was round. Cantarians have no such scientific means, and no in game ways to develop them so the best we can do is embark on a "leap of faith" voyage.

Leave Anthony alone. I support his decision to delete that post, and I don't think he did it because the answer was correct. You assume a lot when you assume that Anthony knows the answer to this question. :P

I wasn't abusing my powers. If I were to 'abuse' my powers, you'd know it ;) (WOOPS! All of Nitefyre's posts are MISSING. Where did they go?! ^.^)

And Oasis is correct. I myself have NO IDEA if the Cantr world is flat or round. I delete the post because it was blunt and made it obvious that this person was completly sure they were correct.

Sooooooo. There :)

And you are indeed correct. He did THEORIZE if it was round before he went off. He still had to actually explore to find out that he was, in fact, correct. Same with the Cantr people :P - They can make their theories, then find out. Simple. :) (Psst: Take a LOT of food :P)

Thile I basically agree with Anthony here  , I must point out that Cantr characters can't rally make 'theories'. They have nothing whatsoever to base the theories on.

What they can make are WAGs (wild-a** guesses)
