Cantr II Discussion Forum

This is another opinion/list/fact post
Out of all of Cantr, which living characters death would cause the most turmoil, grief, etc?
How would it affect the region?
Or you could break it down by continent, or city.
Even analyze how you think an area would be affected by your own characters death.

Recent happenings in SFN area are a good recent representation on a microcostic scale, but I won't go into specs. (4 day rule) Maybe we can analyze that in 2 days or so.

Anyways, I think that any major ruler's end will affect a region. For example the end of Romanov has landed Lad bartering for its existence with the recent ruler's inept of finishing thier aggression.

Ok lets see, SF has been blinking a lot on my screen lately, so if Alicia Reed died what would happen? I think just like how Maily was lost, they would overcome it and have someone ept enough to take over. Jo Jo Mattarotz (sp?) seems very busy and handling the current day to day business with much ability. (though all the friggen moving is causing me to log in to SF to see nothing much but Jo Jo working) I also don't know who would be her replacement but I'm sure they're prepared for that sort of thing. Of course I'm confident the regulations and rules will stick, even with Alicia's departure.

If Joram Traske died, Drojf might well just grind to a halt. Nessa isn't awake often enough to keep things running, and with no active councillors, how could ellections be held?

I really don't think anyone would care more than a couple locations away, no matter who died. Except maybe in the close-knit KDS area.

No one would care much at all if any of my characters died.

Alicia Reed hasn't chosen a replacement yet. I think if Alicia died, a few select people would compete over control. The question of who would ultimately gain control could change how the forest is ran. I believe one would be fairly peaceful, while the other may choose to start another war.

I've had 3 characters there at different times and Jo Jo definitely runs the show. He would have to show some muscle early to maintain the domination Alicia has over that region. It is amazing how much other characters dislike her outside of her town.

Whoever plays Jo Jo must only have him as a character or access to unlimited minutes. The man is always awake and never stops. Sometimes I feel I'm watching a tennis match, back and forth, back and forth. Alicia on the other hand, sleeps a lot.

Can it be a location or group?

If all of Karnon Forest dropped dead I think that would make a differencei n the general K island area.

Well, yeah...heh
Since there is so many different groups in KF and on the K island, if a leader of one dropped dead, it would really mostly only matter to those in the same group. Sure, people would grieve (maybe) but it'd be harder for those in the same group.
Ex: Nick Blackrock- Some would miss him. His death would affect TBR greatly.
Rick O'Shea- Same thing, except for the Collective.

Also, Zady Zwellinger in Siom.
If she was to die, Siom would be chaotic for a good while. Most everyone there thinks she is a great woman, as a leader and a friend. She knows what she is doing, and is very intelligent.

If Obilo died everyone in KoRT would be happy .

King Matthias Zahlman has ruled for about 40 cantr years, I am sure olip west would be greatly hurt by him passing on. I'm surprised that region isn't more unified compared to the KDS area.

True. I think his death would hurt most overall.
He has ruled longer than anyone else, I believe. He has been through tough times and still come out on top...etc.
Lots of acomplishments he has done.
