Cantr II Discussion Forum

OOC negativity doesn't appear out of nowhere. The game is steadily losing players and has been for awhile now. Jos coming back didn't change that, the new forum didn't change that, and the promise of a CR clarification (which hasn't gone anywhere for several months now) didn't change that.

The things that could change that just aren't being done.

Honestly I think this out of game negativity on the forums is a huge part of that continued decline. When you have such a hard divide between what goes on in the game and the players communicating OOC this is what outsiders will think the community/game is like.

New people aren't really looking at the forum. Yougo made a pretty interesting argument and was subsequently banned. I'm not saying he was right, but that thread did have a lot more activity after he posted and subsequently died after he was banned.

Was Wiro banned from the forum? I just tried to PM him but can't.

Since this is already being discussed, he was temporarily banned for reposting sensitive PD information after it was edited. He is no longer banned.

Some of the problems our game has are more to do with playerbase than game itself. Some of it is that we all seek different things and perhaps current population doesn't care so much for politics and economics meaning those seeking those get dissapointed. Or perhaps our playerbase is shifted towards more of people who play less and since they have not so much online time they focus to other things. Usually politics and economics etc need more time so they naturally pick something less time consuming.

Also we have this funny thing that even if people would be awake.. Nobody says anything resulting in kinda awkward silence which leads to more silence

Is it really appropriate to discuss every ban here?
Banned for being someone who was already banned on another account.
