Axiom thread got nuked - Was it a rule break or spite ?

The rules clarifications are mostly done... we are just working on some translation issues.

And the reasoning is? It was a multipage thread full of positivity and praise. IIRC there were about three posts that needed to be removed right at the very end, and the response was to delete the whole thing? I've never seen this happen in any other situation.

Could I destroy the entire RP praise thread right now, by making three posts that broke the rules? Because unless it's as Rmak said, just because of spite...which isn't a conclusion anyone wants to draw about the staff and their professionalism...nuking entire threads must be the new standard policy for dealing with one or two people making inappropriate posts?

I wrote a long post in that thread, it broke no rules, so why was I the one punished? And everyone else who contributed in good faith? Shouldn't all of us have been contacted with an explanation, since we all had our posts removed?

Simple explanation: PD did not do this...

No forum rules were broken by PD.

Several people posted on the thread... sort of like the "how banned am I" post and we enforced the forum rules.
If you want an explanation, ask the several people who chose to break forum rules.

Thank you as always Ally, for your professionalism. It's good to have a response so quickly. It could have possibly done with a few spins through an english to english translator, but them's the breaks.

However, I must confess to a degree of bafflement. My sentences were short and clear, as was Rmak's, as was Marian's. That amongst other things (but settling for attainable with, oh, five minutes time involving deleting the last few posts), denying something so simple as return of a genuinely complimenting thread, makes it seem like a petty, spiteful reason behind. Not saying there is, and I sincerely hope that there isn't, but that's the way it seems.

I didn't remove the thread, so putting the passive aggressive boots on and blaming everyone else just seems childish.
