Cantr II Discussion Forum

Hello.
Our forum is currently using phpBB 3.0, which has reached end of life in november 2015. It means that bugfixes (including security fixes) will no longer be available for the current version.
So it's necessary to upgrade the forum to phpBB 3.1
It's a quite major change, but I've tested it and the upgrade is quick and easy.

The only negative consequence is incompatibility of our current green theme.
I've looked for any green theme compatible with 3.1 and I found these two:

(it's possible to adjust colors with menu on top. There are two green options for each theme)
I'm not content with any of those, but they are IMO the best of available.
It's possible to use online editor to easily customize colors in any of themes, so maybe you'd come with some better solution?

I'd like to know which of these you find the most clear or if you have any other proposals.

I'd like to perform the upgrade as soon as possible. The date will be announced on forum and in the game, but it won't take much time, so you'll most likely not even notice it.

Well, I'm very glad that the only issue is the theme! I think I prefer the second one you proposed, because the unread forum indicator is much clearer in that one (I am colorblind).

I liked the second one better as well.

Will the old theme still be compatible? Maybe...?

I like the first one better.
Is there a way to change the icons for things like unread topics?

So the easiest solution is to take some basic 3.1 style and apply all the changes to make it look like the Getaway Green.
If somebody wants to do it, then I can upload it.

The first one is SO much better. Finally little steps to improve how Cantr presents itself? We've been stuck in the '90ties for far too long.

The first one certainly lives up to it's name. I prefer the second.

I like the second one better.

It's just the forum, and it doesn't look that bad. Cantr is still stuck in the 90's era.

It was 2:5 for Elegance (the second) theme. But it might be hard to decide without actually using any of these, so both themes will be available, also new could be added later.

Elegance is default theme, but it's possible to use the second presented in this thread. It's also possible to use phpbb's default prosilver (which is blue).
