I think, OC, at this point people are tripping more over his idea that this is "funny" and "hilarious" somehow.

Actually, no.

Now, its normally not a good idea to rape someone when you just meet them, especially if you don't even know if the player will be ok with it. Well, somehow i knew that the player actually WANTED to have her toon raped because she insisted that she wasn't scared when she was originally so scared she couldn't speak.

Does that sound like OOC consent to have the character raped, from the player? Sounds like rape-radar.

I was curious how someone would step in to justify this. What sort of mental gymnastics would be achieved. Little disappointed that it was just poor reading to the aid, not some convoluted logic chain.

A feminist is someone who believes that women should be treated like human beings. Everyone who isn't a complete asshole should be a feminist. Bowdlerizing it into "man-hating lunatic" does not mean that was what it was meant to start for.

I will admit, ooc consent should be obtained first, and if it was obtained, then great, peoples opinions on the subject is null and void, because whether or not people think its funny, its none of their concern. Its a RPG for my sake.

So I will make the suggestion so everyone can see it. If you want to RP a rape scene out, please obtain ooc consent first. It is actually against the rules to initiate any Sex based scene without first getting the info they are above 18 and they consent to it. Take it a step further and gain additional consent to initiate a rapes scene since people are so triggered.

If the rules are followed, then as a RPG, and IC, I think its freaking hilarious.

If you were to refer to the 1st and 2nd wave of feminism, then yes, that is what it would stand for. 3rd wave however I not. And do not get me started on this, because you will not win. 3rd wave feminism -is- man hating.

Equal rights: The right both genders have. 3rd wave does NOT support this.

What I personally mean by hilarious, I that if consent is gotten, and then role-played, everyone feels a need to protest against it when it was two people consenting to a scene in a game. Not the actual rape itself. Its the fact people are butting in where they don't belong.

Rape radar. Heh heh...... See? Rape can be funny

Oh and that character was one of the ones that STAYED WITH ME!!!!!..... And made it obvious she was disregarding her safety when I warned her to stay away from me. That's how that started.

Let's keep this going. Who else wants to question the way I role played these scenes? I've gone from being insulted to just plain baffled. It's like your only reading the parts in my post that you hate the most.

Do I have to post my freakin turn reports or something so you can see for yourselves nothing really bad happened? Go back to school and learn to read. Your ignoring half of my post almost every time.
