It's a type of duffer, which is one of the class of nongs.

Duffer, is a foolish person. A nong is too, but the duffer is a bit more gentle, forgiving. You'd call a child you liked with his head stuck in a bucket a duffer, a nong would be if he had managed to fit his arm in as well before getting stuck, somehow.

Just don't gleefully tell your coworkers that you are "up the duff" because apparently that's actually quite crude.
