Either all the BadPeople outted, or just the nice guys. So when someone does link a character back to you, they might alternatively have an awwww, or an AHHHHH! But yes, I wait until my fellows have established a personality, reputation and are over 30 before I consider outting them. Just stacks the deck, if I've pissed off some other player on a char, they see one of mine spawning and waving friendly-like, suddenly all opportunities and interesting moments dry up, for OOC reasons. Not exactly fair, or fun, but that's humans for ya.

Sometimes I feel strange in that I'm both used to and thrilled by both positive and negative interactions with characters even belonging to the same player. Different sort of culture, I guess? Or maybe some people are overly sensitive to certain things.

EDIT: Also, I play such a wide variety of characters that just knowing who played them isn't likely to tell you much. I can't imagine I'm the only one.

After some ridiculously noob mistakes, the password reset feature should be working as intended.

Still working on the calculator, but will also begin work on some of the things brought up in these threads that appear to be desired! Stay tuned!

Is anyone else having trouble trying to edit a story now? I can log in, but it says I don't have permission to access the story. On another note, when I could edit I couldn't get paragraphs to seperate. It's a long story and I wouldn't want to read it as one long run on paragraph (but reading those old turn reports to help me remember has been fun ).

I created a new character, set them to hidden, and then when I went and clicked on them for editing I got a big red 'You are not authorized to view this' across the top of the screen. Did I hide that one from myself too, somehow? Or is it doing that will all new chars, haven't tested that far yet.

Mine has been hidden and I've been editing it for a while. Glad to know it's not just me.

Yeah, I just hid one of my characters. It then proceeded to forward me -to- that character which was hidden even from myself.

I am trying to replicate the issue on both the dev and live server and don't seem to have those problems. Is it still occurring or has it gone away?

Have you tried logging out, then back in again? Also maybe clear the cache?

I have to head out to work soon, but will check back later and dig a bit deeper if this keeps up.

Alright, well the good news is that I hit it on the sore spot. I will work on the issue later on after work tonight or tomorrow depending on when I get home.

When making a new character, the "death date" isn't saved. I had to edit the character and enter it again. Also, non-hidden characters don't show up in the list until you edit them again.
