Back before the animal repopulation, there were a couple of islands that were extremely dangerous. Weak newspawns were eaten alive pretty quickly, so over time, there really was a sort of evolution in that most of the chars remaining on the islands were quite strong. Also, as it was so difficult to play in those circumstances, too many players would abandon spawns who did not have good skills, compounding the effect.

I have one that spawned with pretty much everything at novice or awkward, at least.

This sounds like so much fun. If I had a character in this situation, it would easily become my favorite character while it lasted.

But, of course, like any other attempt in Cantr to have a culture that's different, I'm sure it would get squashed pretty quickly.

This happened before!! Oh oh oh what was her name. She had specific laws about being part or the town and having to be strong and able to drag an amount. Even the DoUrden members posted there had to be super strong.
Queen zjira? Oh poo I don't think that's it. Anyways! It happened!

Conversely, I would like to see the opposite happen as well. An entire town breeding in the weakest characters so we get a flux of weakling who specialize in something stereotypical like being bookworms, or intellectuals or something. That'd be pretty interesting haha.

Can confirm, this is entirely possible. I have one now with all awkwards skills, and one expert.

Three years without a post, what was it about this one that brought you out of the woodwork?

And then your char is below average in strength... we have almost worst char ever. I can already see how even sheep are dangerous not to mention those pesky scarabs
