I'd be interested in a poll on how much this whole incident either helped or hurt people's characters once it's all resolved.
Kind of hilarious how what has to be the too most annoying characters in the entire game are going to go down in history for this instead...
More hilarious is that nobody else had done it, no locks or anything protecting those things so... Really shouldn't be any surprise, it would have happen sooner or later anyway and has happened with some random people turning radios offsynq but now at least people have reason to move their lazy butts around.
I'm pretty sure however that there's larger problem than one repeater, I have seen many being off synced before and have turned them back 100 freq so that one just showed the missing links. Though I can't tell for sure, whole radio range is a bit mystery still for me

Just found a treasure trove of old repair projects. So many beautiful antique tools, and
nice ones, perfectly preserved. My char feels like an archaeologist who just made the find of the century.

The amount of time I have spent lately researching languages, medieval weaponry, cloth, dyeing, obscure musical instruments, gemstone cuts, woodworking, sailing, leather, animals, metallurgy, and flowers.

Seconded. My google metrics have gone crazy, from hours spent looking up images and patterns of clothing from the historical culture I draw as inspiring my chars look.
That has been fun too, squeezing every last morsel of description out of the 320 character limit for it. Forcing me to be frugal with how to describe it, really break down what the important parts are and how to present the image that I'm thinking of.

Translating foreign character descriptions with Google:
A short woman with very long black hair behind the lines occurring on the buttocks.
You can feel her strong smell spread.

Is that the same woman? She sounds
very interesting, if so!

Yeah. Some things just don't translate. Haha.

I'm not sure I want to know where the strong smell is spreading from...

Ever have one of those experiences where your character gets to hang out with their favorite person in all the world, everything is going their way, and it's enough to give you a warm fuzzy feeling as you go about your day, even when you're not playing?

The way ships will stop to avoid hitting the coast, but being directly on course to hit another ship isn't an issue at all...

That moment where your forum avatar perfectly compliments your post, though.

Desert tortoises. Has anyone else noticed their odd locations?

I'm sure this one's been said a million times, but: custom descriptions. They still make me giddy.
Always before, notes were just about the only really interesting, unique thing that could stand the test of time. I just love the idea that the things my character makes could be floating around the game almost literally forever. Maybe I'll spot someone with a sword or dress I made, with a new character on another island RL years from now.

I recently entered a ship that had old (well, not that old) building projects in a cabin. I was going to cancel them until I noticed they had custom descriptions. It would be pretty awesome if someone completed them, even though they have no materials added.
