On top of my employment worries, I've also been saddened by a number of friends who have left the game altogether, and that's also been a drag on my inspiration. Furthermore, I'm also a bit OCD when it comes to reading every line my characters encounter. For some reason, I have to go through every line before I can even play, and so the actual play time ends up to be a few scant minutes there and here--quantity and quality of gameplay has suffered.
So, it's time to cull my small herd of humans. But I like each of them so much, I just can't decide which one or ones to off. So, my friends, I need your help...your cruel, sadistic, morbid help (but in a fun way

Let me flesh out the choices, to give you a little something more to go on. I usually don't like to give away my characters to keep the illusion going, and this might out them, but this is the way I'm going to go with it. So be it. Now, if you think that a particular character is worth saving, I welcome a reply as to why (here or PM). On the contrary, if there's one you'd love to see writhe in a horrid death, by all means make your case! If you don't know the character, but think there's too many of that type around and think the world would be a better place without yet another one of them

Okay, a little more about each character:
- Shaudawn: My namesake, so it's pretty obvious I play him. He's a town leader with a kind of Native American/Buddhist fusion. I'm not keen on putting him on the chopping block, but he gets no special privilege. He's lost a few people, and he takes every newspawn death or failing personally, so it weighs on him more all the time (particularly with one antagonistic town member). But he's also fairly happy and with a great bunch of townsfolk. He's my most spiritual, and he's quite a storyteller. But is it time for the town to have someone else step up? Even in Cantr, no one lives forever. Cons: he has few (if any) known warts (a paladin), and a good character has at least as many flaws as character assets.
- Biin Hejj: I've also been open about him. He's a very odd duck, almost literally since he often introduces himself with such birdlike flailing of the arms that he looks like an ostrich having a seizure on a waterbed during an earthquake. He loves to use big words, sometimes speaks like a Shakespearean actor, and will recite something either cryptic or poetic out of the blue. Speaking of blue, he is very depressed these days since he's lost his fiance. She was his one true love, and he'll never get over it, even if he survives this poll. He's also been one people have told me they love to hate. Frankly, I am sometimes one of those people.
- Three: Speaking of hate, this girl spawned in a town that wasn't very good for her. She left, and instead of living her days as a drama queen has instead made her way to Fu island where she is happily and cheerfully exploring its vast emptiness. Reasons to kill her: mercy. Nearly everyone she's known is dead. But Fu could use some help, and she's reformed her ways. Honest!
She is in a good and healthy relationship, so if you spare her, do it for teh luvs! (Did I just doom her with that last sentence? Oh, dear...)
- Four: This one is downright ugly. Unsettling, even. Just looking at him can give you an uneasy feeling. Think Tyrion Lannister, but without the wit and charm. And money.
This character isn't mean, exactly, but gets along much better with cows than with actual people. A workaholic, this one never stops working if it can be helped. So, for the miniscule hamlet that is home, that can be an asset. But this character might not remain there anyway. And, he might have an agenda of his own.
- Five: This guy absolutely hates bugs with a passion. He talks with a strange but stereotypical accent. And, he makes booze. Now, while I like alcohol as much as anybody, this guy doesn't have much more dimension. He has more wit and charm than Four above, but he's still pretty dimensionless. He's nice and helpful, but the town he's in really wouldn't miss him too much, and there's not a lot of opportunity for growth. Sadly, I'm endorsing this guy. I had hopes, but sometimes you get cancelled.
- Six: Now this guy is a sight! He's a huge ox of a man with great strength, but dumber than a box of rocks. To those that know him, he's kind of a teddy bear that is generous, helpful, and tender. But beneath him is a monster. Shortly after he spawned, a thief came and stole from him. He pursued and caught the culprit, eventually ripping her arm clean off her socket so she bled to death. He was oddly fascinated by how easy it was. Now, do you believe people are good inside and have faith in this beast? Or, should we off him and save the next poor victim because you believe deep down, there's darkness waiting to be unleashed in everyone?
- Seven: She's quiet. She is working to be a trader, and works a lot. But she hasn't been contributing to the town she's in. It's a busy trading town. Lots of ships, and she managed to snag one. But it's small and unequipped. She doesn't have much. She could either be an active trader, calling the town she's in home port, or she could become...well, nothing special at all. Or, she could be dead. What do you think?
Now, I can't guarantee that I'll actually off the winner (or winners...I'm thinking of maybe killing off three), but I'll seriously take the vote and feedback you've so kindly offered. At least it'll be fun, especially if there's some impassioned reasons as to how deserving a particular character is to disappear into that green oblivion.
Anyway, thanks for helping me out, if you are willing and/or able.
