I went through my list and was surprised by how different their diets actually were.

- Mostly tacos but once burgers
- Lasagna
- Salted meat
- Rack of lamb
- Roasted carrots
- Raw carrots
- Smoked meat
- Stew
- Fish sandwich
- Baked potatoes, meat pie, carrots
- Brisket
- Smoked meat, milk, cooked meat
- Saag aloo

-potato chips
-raw rice
-rack of lamb
-steamed rice and salted meat
-meat pie


The one eating raw rice is the only one that had to take time to get their food, everyone else just had a rummage through the public stores.

Out of my characters:
- likes cooking and has probably cooked most of the food on his ship
- used to have someone in town who did most of the cooking, but that person died, leaving a lot of speciality foods behind but not much that would be financially efficient
- likes cooking occasionally, has cooked enough to last years
- tends to buy food from others
- sees food as a chore, a necessary evil
- is absolutely rubbish at cooking and lives in a location with no local food source, so would probably starve if others didn't cook for her
- has someone else cook for him
- has been starving occasionally, has to gather or cook his own food but is awkward at cooking. Actually he's efficient or worse at almost all the skills.
- is awkward at cooking, has her mate cook for her
- normally eats what other people cook, occasionally cooks himself if he has to
- loves cooking but has other people start the projects
- cooking is her second favorite activity but she cooked so much in the past that the container got full and there was no need to cook any more
- is awkward at cooking, buys food from others
- generally gets food from other people, only cooks when she absolutely has to, even though she's expert at it
- tends to cook saag aloo while traveling because the tajine doesn't require any fuel

Overall it's pretty polarized, either they're awkward or otherwise hate cooking, or expert and loving it.

One of my characters appreciates good food, but only serves it when meeting with important people. The rest of the group eats cheap food, mostly, even though they are the ones that have to cook the good stuff.
