I demand these be added to the game.
But otherwise I completely agree. It really does feel like there are no big goals to work towards any more. I remember in my last account I was spawning characters meant to be helpful, loyal citizens, they would ask if the town had any major projects in the works and what needed to be done, the answer was always 'we don't need anything, really' or 'you can start repairing this pile of useless junk, i guess, if you really want to'. Which was as good as saying they had no use for my character, though they'd still act offended when I'd eventually have them leave.
There's no need for organized factions because there's
nothing to organize. There's no common enemy to fight or defend against, no resource scarcity or need for regular trade, no goals that require cooperation to work towards, no unique laws to enforce. Except for the people RPing sociopaths, the only conflict is over relationship drama or otherwise the kind of stuff that would be more at home in an RP chat room than it is in a game like Cantr.
I've had characters in towns that were in the Lenai Alliance before. Though other than the notes on the ground saying so, I never saw any sign of effecting anyone. In one case my character asked, and even the leader knew very little about it.

I wonder how easy it would be to create a empire from scratch.. And make some strong and bloody one.. like something like Aztecs were

I've actually spent more time than I care to admit sketching out ideas for an Egyptian-like empire. Or even a single town with a strong culture. You'd need a massive amount of resources and a location that's inconvenient for newspawns to walk away from, to start with. The real challenge would be in finding five or even three active characters and 'converting' them to your way of thinking, which I'd consider the bare minimum to get things set up in the beginning.
If I could ever get a character with the right mindset in the right position, I'd even consider doing away with the last requirement and recruiting people on the radio in the most cynical way possible. 'If you're bored then run away with me to an island where we'll set up a government with all these unique laws, apply now and you get to be a god-king instead of a peasant laborer.'
Might be harder to feel people out about it without getting caught if you're advocating kidnapping and human sacrifice, though.

If someone could pull it over.. I wonder how long it would took that people would rise against it and try to destroy it... Hmm, worth a try actually

The problem with any set up like this is you'd be murdering all the active characters getting things done and thus make the game even more boring. Maybe try just go around buying up sleeping newspawns instead and getting all vague and mysterious when people ask what you do with them, should create some interesting rumors.

Key is to start it as something that looks mostly innocuous, get people emotionally and/or financially invested and get a good reputation and a decent set-up of resources and skilled people, then change over to something stronger and darker slowly :3 If you can get really good at bringing negative rumours back to the innocent beginnings you wont ever need to kidnap anyone - they'll come to you willingly.
*polishes halo*
Not that I've got any characters in a great place in terms of personality and position to achieve that at all...
*whistles innocently*

Man, sounds a perfect plan. Maybe in next 30 years you might heard something

We have... um... *doesn't meet eyes* ...a magic rock. In our town. *nods emphatically then stares at feet* It makes them wake up but... uh... they fall asleep again if they move away? So they can't come back. And uh... it's... shy... so you can't come visit. *nods unconvincingly*

Oh man there was a character that did this once, gathering sleepers. They said it was to make their town more attractive to people, to get people to live there, but I never was sure of it

I did that once. Loaded up four or five sleepers from Pok and drove them back home...probably would have made a habit of it if the character had survived, they had plenty of sleepers and didn't mind.
No ulterior motives or anything, we just were trying to increase the odds of getting newspawns.

Since it's more than 4 days, run for this sleepy newspawn sacrifice empire has started

Even Blackrocks will look like soft white bunnies compared to this. Hardest part is to not kill any active people..
