I decided to allocate the points equally as I enjoy these characters all equally. It was hard to pick just five favorites.

Jordan (10) - My characters don't interact with her very often, and when they do, it's often not pretty, but for providing my first glimpse of actual conflict, and always keeping things interesting.

Laila Moreno (10) - Ah the duality of your personality, the snap judgments, the strong leadership, and just everything. Controversial enough to cause conflict now and then, but stable enough to lead and keep what can best be described as a miracle of a town going. Love your character.

Amy of Klojt (10) - You always play your disability without missing a beat (trust me... I've WANTED her to slip up!), and your character has a heart of gold. Amy's just been amazing to interact with.

Cookie Mackay (10) - I wish more people could know you, but the remoteness would make it hard. Wonderful, supportive, and wakeful despite having little reason other than my character. Your character shares my character's dream, despite it being a very improbable dream given the current state of the game. It would be easy for our characters to throw their chips in and try to find a new place to live, but our stubborn desire to see our town take off...well, it's fun. Even if it won't happen.

Ezmelia of Kirinn (10) - For bringing life to a place that so desperately needs it, and for always trying hard to get people going, even if they don't want to. Keep it up, as I'm sure it'll be worth it in the long run.

7, Jerrett Ocus - single-handedly makes that part of the woods on Burgeo stink with his farts and belching, I'm sure, but it just wouldn't be the same without the intoxicated grumpy ol' git 


7, October Skye - for, among other reasons, showing the darn bugs who's boss!

5, Ivette Fowler - a brute with a soft gooey centre and my character has a lot of fun being her friend.

5, Miirkaelisaar - legend!

3, Lavender, on Burgeo island - points for being so quirky, would have been higher if she didn't spend so much time asleep...wake her up more!

3, Raviel - I couldn't not mention him, my character would only be half the man without this one to tease mercilessly and love unconditionally.

50, Coventina - This character not only keeps her own town running with a fair, orderly hand, but also keeps the economy of that entire region, if not island, flowing. She seems to do it with only the best interest of the people, town and island in mind, not her own personal motivations, needs or gain and doesn't seem to play favorites with family/best friends/clique. The overwhelming responsibilities of her role/job would be astoundingly difficult and she can be soooo aggravating. Yet, even when she has pushed my characters to their limits, it continued to feel as if Coventina was thinking for her town, island and Cantr. I think she's had a very positive impact on Cantr and has kept many, many characters going in the green life. Thank you and, to the player, please keep making characters like this and spread them around.

Could you do me a big favor and split my 50 points evenly among the characters other people mention who are leading others? I want to help encourage that type and not limit it just to the few I happen to know from experience. The ones reported as making people's lives more interesting by giving them things to do, driving activity trough actual simulation of society (not just interpersonal relationships, though they may do that too when appropriate), creating jobs and opportunities. I hope there are more than those three, and I want them all to be at the top of the list if I can help get them there. They, in my opinion, are the most important characters in the whole game.

Wow, thanks to who ever it was that gave Coventina 50 points. Sometimes I wonder why I'm still playing after ten years, and one of the reasons is I'm pretty sure Klojt would collapse if Coventina died. It's weird that it became such a powerhouse, all it has is four natural resources, one of them being stone, which hardly even counts, and none of the rest being anything unique either. So Klojt basically works by buying things at balanced rates, sometimes selling them to make profit, but most often only selling them for the same price that was paid for it in the first place, and sometimes even making a loss when trade rates are changed. Coventina doesn't play favorites, which has made at least Adelai mad on occasion when she wouldn't give free silk cloth to make Amy a gift, but I think people have more reasons to live for if they have to work to earn things.

Three hoorays for capitalism! I love how any dream can come true in Klojt.

Now I want a character to spawn in Klojt!

My first ever character spawned in Klojt (though he moved away) and he and the other of my characters who has met her think Coventina's pretty awesome :3 She's the only living character other than my own whose hair colour I can always remember off the top of my head :D

Coventina has been a friend for many chars of me and a supporting ally. I always appreciated her skills, but I have never had a spawn in Klojt and my chars enjoyed there mostly for visiting and trading. Without her many things would crumble down, I hope her player goes on playing. We all know our beloved Cantr has own Bitter/Sweet ways.

My third spawned in Klojt, and as much as she hated it, it took years before she finally had a really good excuse to leave.
Three of my other characters have visited and overall their impressions were good. Although I forgot to label Adelai's gender and so I once addressed him as a woman instead of a man. lol

Congratulations to all the winners. I almost sent in a list but it would've had only one, maybe two names, and I didn't want to use 50 points on one person. It wouldn't have altered the results (much) anyway... neither of them are on this list currently. (Actually, using 50 points on one would have put him/her in third place for total points but anyway.)

Through my characters over the years I'd say I have met most old town leaders in the English zone -but- Covetina actually. Not too late to make the aquaintance yet I assume.

I feel a little irritated by fact that most people on that list are chars that I have never seen or heard of.. So many chars I should see
