That video is great! Front page worthy! Though we may have to look into where the images are from and whether we can use them in order to put it there. To someone who doesn't know Cantr it might look like those are images of the game.

I'm just hoping that it attracts at least a few new players, though!

Since Urban Dead has some kind of perfect target audience maybe those of us playing should put Cantr's URL in our group names and descriptions in addition to the grafitti.

Unless there are rules against that, but the game doesn't really seen moderated all that closely.

Next time I get rezzed I'll also mention it to any group of survivors I find before opening up on them with a shotgun.

"Hi! Like perma-death? *blam* Then you won't enjoy Cantr, newspawn filth".

The trailer is fantastic. Looking forward to being a tree.... and the other things too. But, treee!

Yes, and I may be able to help with that. I'd avoid showing current character information and events. The images in the video seem to describe what the game is about, but adding more words could replace the meaning.

I have seen many of those images on the net before so they may fall into the category of public domain by now.
As long as we are not trying to achieve profit from them, the worst I would -expect- is a cease and desist for any particular image.

YouTube's policies would be the best answer for that. I would at least put somewhere, like in the description, what the song is and the artist.

Cutecuddlydirewolf has labeled it and put a disclaimer, and we're not using it for commercial purposes, so it should be okay.

I'll start working on that... and I would appreciate all the help I can get!

I like the video. I think it's worth becoming the main promo on the front page.
However, at the same time I think it'd be nice to emphasize the fact we are so good in role-playing because it's a text game. This way we'll encourage the right people.
On the other hand I wouldn't like to make the video longer. I also get impression that the end is at 1:40, then there are more images and another end.

And it's neat to see that in Cantr even the black screen is green.

Is it possible to have a Polish version of it?
