On a slightly similar note, there is currently a Cantr rant on Youtube, with reasons not to play the game. It's not very long or anything, but it's out there.

Yesss!!! It's still here, and the map has changed quite a lot...zombie hordes have filled the eastern parts of Malton now.

Somehow, UD is still getting new players...

For over a few years now Urban Dead has been one of Cantr's main sources of new English players.

Wow, I never knew that, but I guess it makes sense. People who are happily playing a text based game from the 90s (and even managing to squeeze RP out of it when it doesn't support it very well...), used to waiting around a long time and making almost zero progress even when they can play, and of course there's the ability to advertise far better games like Cantr with the spray cans. I guess I'll grab one and do my part the next time some jerk revives me.

But it looks like it's not even really being developed any more? Amazing it still has such a big community, but I guess zombies are an even bigger deal than they used to be and even back then it was strangely addictive despite not being a very good or fun or balanced game at all...
