Anceint Lore - the time before knocking

Subject: Locks

There should be a way to knock on locked doors or some other way of
informing people within a locked building that they're needed
because as of now theres no way to get a hold of someone if they're
holed up behind a lock you don't have a key too. Just a simple
button nexted to locked buildings allowing you to knock and then
anyone within would see "You hear a knock on the door" or somesuch
would be grand.

Except you CAN actually knock on locked doors already. And the people inside CAN hear you knocking if they are in the first room of the building.

Right.
But there was a time when you couldn't.
I was in the old yahoo site looking for stuff and came upon this.
It shows how the game had progressed.
There was also a time before lockpicking and a time before locks or so I've been told.

And a time when there were weapons, but no shields. And a time before weapons. And a time before hitting, and a time when tools you were making showed up on the ground when your project was done, and a time when *everything* showed up on the ground when your project was done, and you could dig steel right out of the earth with only your fingers...

:?

Who are some of the oldest characters in the game? I have seen a few chicks in their fourties. Are there any characters in their fifties? :?:

Day 600 or 601 would see the first possibility for a person in thier fifties.
So I had always wondered who was the oldest left.

Then keep your eyes open on day 602. Two characters will turn 50 that day. ;-)

Now I really feel like a yung'un...

My oldest is 28...

At least my two oldest characters are still living.

This could bring up another interesting evil group. They could go around killing everyone that is old. That might be fun

I've seen lots of maniacs in game, but not many selective maniacs. Any of those players that is reading, I would be happy if you started some kind of discrimination. It would add flavor to your evils.

(I've seen some references to Cosmo Harrigan OOC in game. I hope I don't start getting emails as I'm not in the players department. Perhaps you should mention that it is the one on staff...)

Everyone was given their "proper" age, assuming they turned 20 on the day they were created.
